They hold onto your deposits longer than normal, the online banking options is always giving incorrect numbers on the weekend because the office is closed. Poor service, old systems. 0/0 would not recommend. The irs informed me my best friend our refund would be available on 03/23. She banks with Current and she received hers on 03/18/22 it’s 03/24/2022 and SRP is informing me they have not received the deposit yet. Which I know is a lie, because why would the IRS lie. Also this is not the first time I had to go to another bank to get full access of MY funds because SRP is gambling with your deposits before they release them to you. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Made an appointment at this branch to refinance my auto loan at 5pm. Figured I should have enough time to do what I needed to do before they close at 6. It was close to 5:45 before anyone was able to assist me. Which may not have been a problem if they were slammed but they weren’t. I had been the only customer there waiting for loan services when I arrived within that hour. There were only 2 loan officers - 1 was already assisting a customer in her office and the other was sitting in her office gossiping with a friend. In fact- once her employee let her know what I was there for she said okay I’ll be right with her before proceeding to close the door and continue gossiping with her friend. And apparently she was the manager

Customer service is almost non existent. Hold times to speak to someone are ridiculous and the wait times and frustration they bring could be compared to those with Comcast! Used to be a great place to do banking. Now, we are looking at other options

I use to love this bank but the last 2 years has been nothing but aggravation. Having to drive all over to find an Atm that works and takes deposits. Now cant walk into the bank unless an appointment. Time is money for most people calling and waiting 26 mins to talk to someone is absolutely ridiculous just to make the appointment. Guess the highers up aren't too worried about losing customers a 10 year customer plus had half my family and friends change to SRP. This was the Davis road branch when Rhonda was there branch ran smooth. The Evans branch has been top notch and knows how to talk to its customers.. I'd rate them 5 star Davis road a 1 star.....

I have been with SRP for over 30 years. They mortgaged my house, gave me a home equity loan, refinanced loans, educated me on savings accounts for my children, gave me excellent advice about credit and financial affairs. They have grown with me and I have grown with them. They are the best people in the whole world!

I've banked with them for years. They do not charge monthly fees which you wont find at most banks. Some think the atm is an inconvenience but I've seen other banks with the same setup and nobody complains. I would definitely recommend this bank. Had to speak to a representative over the phone because of overdraft fees and she was helpful. They tend to be very helpful. However I will admit sometimes the workers that work inside the branch are a little snobby bc they think they made it big working in a bank 🙄 what do you expect? Its north augusta Just ignore them, they've nothing better to do Other than the few that try to spoil the lot, theres plenty of other friendly helpful people that work there

I’ve been a member on/off for almost 30 years!!! And today I was treated like a poor woman begging for my own money!!! I understand policies but customer “loyalty” should be recognized because I could and have taken my services elsewhere over how I’ve been treated as a member. Out of every branch I’ve been to this horrible experience happened at the aiken-augusta hwy branch in warrenville. The cashier made me feel like I stated before a poor woman begging. Whispering to the manager as if my money wasn’t not my own. If there was an issue with me withdrawing money from an account even if so called “policy” stated something else than why had all the others been allowing me to do so with no issues??? Until hackling heather!?! If it was stated to me before than no big deal I would not have done it but to have been allowed several times even the day before... Needless to say I will not go to that branch again.

Used the mobile deposit option. It stated that my funds would be held for 2 days. Three days later I called to see why my funds were not available. For some reason ( that was not explained to me) they decided that my funds needed to be held on an extended hold. I was told on the phone if I brought the check and documents to the bank they would be able to release the funds. So, i left work early and did just that only to be told there was nothing they could do. I am livid. I have bills to pay that are now going to be late thanks to SRP because I have to wait until Monday get MY money ( it is Thursday). DON'T USE THE MOBILE DEPOSIT IF YOU NEED YOUR MONEY!!!

Was in the process of getting a mortgage loan with company. I submitted the application on 3/17/2020 and heard nothing from anyone on status. I found myself reaching out repeatedly to provide information and speak with the loan office. I final speak with him today only for him to say two weeks ago FHA changed criteria and I need a higher credit score. I asked if he could send me data and his response was that he was sure I could find it somewhere. I go do my own research to find that the change to FHA was the same as the one I was already aware of, but the lenders changed their criteria. Mind you I asked 3 time if it was a lender change or FHA change. Just say we won't approve it due to COVID-19. Don't lie and attempt to pass responsibility.

Their drive in is terribly slow. #2 I tried to cash my Mom’s $15.00 tax return check with my account information. No can do! You need to bring your Mom. She us 89 and can’t get up. You have my account number. Nope! Who would fraudulently mess with a federal payment. I can’t exactly put my finger on their service but not good!
