I called the Edgewater branch a couple of days ago and was treated extremely rudely and shockingly by the lady that picked up the phone. It was clear she did not want to help me or even have a normal customer service conversation. As someone who spent years working in the banking industry I was absolutely taken aback by her curt, condescending and dismissive demeanor. I was fully ready to close my account and sever my business relationship with Mariners bank (along with pipeline business like loans I planned to apply for), until I gave a call to Franca who originally opened my accounts in the Cliffside Park branch. As usual, Franca made all my requests and questions a simple process with a smile the whole way. THIS is what customer service is. If it wasn’t for Franca, my accounts would have been absolutely closed by next business day morning. There are a million and one banks, I don’t need to do any business anywhere where I am not treated with respect and consideration. I will only deal with Franca going forward. Management absolutely should have a conversation with this edgewater employee since she not only was completely inappropriate but also misinformed based on the little “information” she provided. Zero stars for edgewater, 2 stars only since another employee at another location saved their business relationship with me. Unbelievable.

There are no words to properly express my gratitude for the extraordinary service provided by the Cliffside Park branch, under the auspices of branch manager, Franka Fabrizio, and her wonderful assistants, Patel and Rosina. The team at the Cliffside branch are highly dedicated to serving their clients. Their devotion and dedication is outstanding. I so much enjoy doing banking at Mariner's Bank that it transforms what would normally be a drudgery into a most enjoyable experience! The individuals that work at the bank have stellar character and wonderful dispositions as well! They reflect well on Mariner's and on the banking institution writ large. I only wish all banks would model themselves after Mariner's, and especially their Cliffside Park branch! Thank you, Franka, Patel and Rosina!!

I started banking here when I moved to Edgewater and have found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. The products offered are competitive with the larger banks, but here you are known by your name, not a number. Makes a huge difference to walk in and be greeted by your name.

Amazing experience everytime I go. The tellers are extremely helpful and courteous. The branch manager Sheerin is extremely helpful.
