Although the people were nice and professional they are not veteran friendly! My father who is a disabled combat veteran and gets SSI & disability was unable to obtain a VA loan through South Pacific Financial despite being qualified for a VA loan. They stated the credit score needed to be 620 or higher. I know many soldiers who did not have to meet this requirement. I contacted several other lenders, 3 of which did not have this requirement and were able to get him approved with his credit score of 590.
