My family and I have been banking with Signal Financial Crédit Union for over 30 years. Though life circumstance’s change, Signal Financial Crédit Union has curated products including auto, mortgage, and other accounts that have enabled me to attain appreciating assets. Moreover, my business goals and milestones have come into fruition by visiting one and one with the Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer, Sr. Branch Manager, and a Financial Planner to assist me with my vision. The most important thing is that the Credit Union has member services that have remained as always reasonably professionally and intellectually astute. This practically is welcomed whether I am discussing estate planning, various insurances, or even cryptocurrencies. That last one may get me in trouble but it is always good for the credit union to be able to have open discussions and educate members via webinars on things like cryptocurrency. Finally, the choices remain up to the members who express an interest on their part in attaining appreciating assets, understanding the risks, and participating in ever changing financial market taboos. This vetting process often starts with open enrollments, ask questions. At Signal Financial Credit Union, they listen. Finally, if I were to summarize the credit union with one word, in my humble opinion: remarkable.

I was a member for over 20 years until today. I went to the Kensington Branch and asked the rep to witness a beneficiary designation form from my employer retirement plan. She told me that the Credit Union did not perform this service. It was not a notary. All I asked was her to witness my signature and sign. I had it done at a different bank and it was not an issue. I am so glad that I closed the account. It’s mobile app is terrible and the customer service has gone down the hill. It took awhile to close my account with her last minute effort to save my business. I would rather go somewhere else where my business is appreciated.

I have a business account with this Credit Union despite other Banks asking me to join them. I have enjoyed my relationship with the staff, they are warm and helpful. While not as convenient or savvy as larger banks I have stayed with this account and Bank. However, a recent issue has made me feel that this has to change. Signal Financial made an error and instead of debiting a small amount of money through a check, perhaps accidentally, debited a large amount of money to the client. I have waiting for them to acknowledge their mistake and remit that money back into my account. I can only hope they come down to it. They are not working hard or fast enough at their end to make sure that they retain a long standing customer.

Worst customer service. I’m not sure they care about their customers or if they care if they know how to use their services or not. Sent my mom to go get her online banking fixed. She called me from there and asked for some help over phone. Through the speaker I heard her bank representative say no I’m not going to fix your phone. My mom had an issue with her app log in. All she needed was her password reset and for the rep to give her the updated info so she may log in to check her banking. Now she’s home and still cannot log in with her “updated” information. I work in customer service and I’ve never treated any of my costumers in that manner. I’ve also helped customers reset minor account pw. I’ve made sure my customer has all their information collected and in hand for any future resolve. Now later in the evening I come to check on my mother and come to find they sent her home with the same exact log in. She still cannot log in. Well it’s back to the bank for her. I truly believe this branch needs an update on customer service training. To make sure their customers know what services they offer and how to use their service.

Wasted 20 years of HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A INSTITUTION that cares NOTHING about their members. Its terrible you can never speak to anyone at this so called banking institution. I am closing my account immediately.

Their customer service is absolute dreck. If you have a question, any question at all, good luck getting someone on the line. You'll hear a message that says no one is available at this time (repeatedly). Then, you'll be forwarded to a mailbox that is full and no longer receiving messages. NO ONE will answer, ever.

This is one of the worst banks you can open an account with, they don't have over draft protection, there online service are constantly undergoing maintenance, and purchases don't reflect immediately on your account. I know several people who have banked with Signal Financial who changed banks.

Excellent Customer Service. Very pleasant at all times. If and when I call the Customer service. I always receive excellent Customer Service. Everyone is very helpful and kind. I enjoy banking at this bank.
