I am so frustrated with Sharonview right now. I have purchased cars, credit cards, personal loans, you name it. My account got messed up so I called the bank and three people lied to me on three different days. I sent emails to the bank and no reply. The BBB May get their attention. This is poor customer service at best. I will walk away from this bank.

I missed my email survey but would be happy to do it. I just wanted to make sure that I sent a shoutout and high praises to this branch. You guys are awesome! Tara assisted me with my car loan and process and she made everything super easy and guided me the whole way from the application down to dealing with the dealership. I appreciate the whole staff! I’ve been going to this branch for years, even when they were in the office park a block away and I’ve always been taken care of. Just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for everything!! You all are the best and I appreciate all your help over the years! 🙂

This bank is a joke. They keep zero cash on hand for anybody needing any real money. Sharon views loan officers work from home and still can’t answer the phone or follow up with customer. Spend five minutes and go across the street to founders and you won’t regret it.

The worst bank ever. I just want to dispute a $14 charge and they want a police report & letter. Don’t u think that’s a little extra and much. I work 50 hours a week you think I have time to do all that. Costumer service is very rude on the phone . Oh did I mean to mention it takes 2 hours to get a representative on the phone . A joke ! Bank some where else . Plus , they charge a 3.00 fee if you don’t with draw from Sharon view atm , plus the ATM fee . $20 turns into $27 lol ! Tuh there a bunch of thieves .

My name is Michael Chandler. This review is for the south tryon location. I had a problem with my credit score being pulled multiple times. Specifically when I told Courtney that it had already been pulled twice when I came to get my car loan about 6 months prior. I was there this time to get it refinanced at a lower rate. I was approved for a lower rate but saw that it had been pulled twice. I was told it was because They were trying to get it approved a different way because the underwriters did not approve it initially. I did not take the lower rate and said I did not approve the second pull. I talked to nervous people and was told that the process is just the way we do it and that sharonview would not be helping in getting the additional pull deleted. I said I specifically said don’t pull it more than once. After getting the run around for three weeks I finally talked to the branch manager. She agreed that it should have not happend. I believe her name was Jordan. She said she was going to address the situation with the underwriters I assume. I said I don’t want to hear this is just the way it is again because I asked for it to only be pulled once. She agreed. She eventually called me back. She said she was sorry but nothing could be done because this is sharonviews way of doing things. I did not take the lower rate and refinanced elsewhere. I will be in soon to close all of my accounts. I know this review means nothing to the people that work there but hopefully a possible customer looking for a good credit union will read this think hard before joining sharonview. They care nothing about you as a member.

My husband and I went there to open a checking account. The bank was empty. We had a horrifying experience. Two people were lacking of good customer service. I was trying so hard to get their attention since I finished the application. They were talking to each other and acted as if we were not there. We were not taken to the room for the final steps of the application. My husband was very frustrated with the application which is user unfriendly. Manager came back from her lunch break and hoping that she would be any better. She was the worst. We are very confused with her attitude. She basically call us liar. We had 12,000 dollars to open a checking account. She refused to accept my new address because it was not updated on my driving license. My husband was sitting next to me assuring her that was my new address and showed her my unopened mails from other financial institute, government legal papers to the current address. She stated that she does not care about other institution other than duke energy. She did not show any interest about our feelings how we were treated before she arrived. Supposedly they can not do anything unless there are three people are present at the bank even though one of them left the room for a while. So they do not follow their own rules, conflicting themselves to their own rules. We will discuss this experience with the higher level people.

I’ve only had great experiences at this credit union. The ladies in the front have always been professional to me as well as other customers while I’m in the branch. A week after opening my account I received a call from Jazmine (branch mgr) asking if I had any questions after opening my account. We talked about mortgage loans & she also gave some great insight regarding the process. I loved that they give you your debit card on the spot with your personal provided pin #. I’m all for team Sharonview!!!

This Branch is the absolute worst. The Branch Manager Tamika and teller Jazzmen was the worst. The Branch Manager treated me as though I was a criminal. I received my unemployment check by mail which the first check was direct deposited into my checking account. I spoke with the unemployment office and was advised they did an update which caused my next weekly check to be sent via mail. So on today August 9th I went into the Branch to deposit the check and the teller Jazzmen refused to cash it saying that they will place a hold on my check when asked why she couldn't give me an explanation as to way she kept saying "just because" which is one very unprofessional, then the Branch Manager came over and said yeah we will have to place a hold on it because unemployment doesn't pay every week, I looked at her and asked nicely "ma'am have you ever received unemployment" she responded with a head shake so I explained to her I receive weekly benefits, which I proof and showed her, she still refused to take my check that is government issued, and said this could be an overlap in payment because it's dated 8/6/17 and I just received a direct deposit from unemployment on 8/4/17 and again I advised that I get paid weekly while she still have proof of my weekly payments. I've never been treated like that ever in my life. I will be speaking with Corporate and I will be filing a complaint against the people at this Branch within Better Business Bureau along with NCUA. Things like this should be unacceptable especially with customers who has never had any issues before hand with any bounced checks, fraud, overdraft, etc. I've been with Sharonview for almost a year and with this incident I will be closing my accounts and banking elsewhere.

if you require little service/capabilites from your bank they might be ok. If you want a good online experience with good electronic capabilities, move along. Systems are weak imop. I travel extensively so ebills & epayments is a necessity and these guys are way behind the times
