SEFCU Rte, Glenmont

Went to deposit cash in their ATM in the morning and it ate my money without crediting it to the account. I was told that they will try and fix it but it wouldn't be until either the end of the day or the next day. I asked if they could credit the money to my account since it was an error on their end and they said no. More or less got told that I'm on my own until someone can come look at the ATM. It's not like I deposited the money in their direct ATM because I had to get groceries and stuff like that. Awful.

DO NOT GET A LOAN THROUGH THEM. They are rude, they are incompetent, and they do not know proper customer service. My fiancé has been financing his car through them and had nothing but issues. He had two repos which he NEVER got notified for because he never knew he OWED MONEY. When he asked them how he owed money and why they couldn’t provide a valid answer. My fiancé put 1,340 dollars in to pay for the repo charge AND his missed car payment. He called today to pay another month on his lease AND THEY MISPLACED THE FUNDS. SAYING HE OWED AN ADDITIONAL 490 DOLLARS! When my fiancé said he paid that much and has a receipt the guy hung up on him. Luckily it got squared away after talking to someone who is actually competent. STEER. CLEAR. If I could give negative stars I would.

Getting cash is easy in the drive thru. Very nice staff.

This is my local SEFCU and is conveniently located near my home. There is plenty of parking and I have found everyone at this branch to be professional and courteous. There are times when it can be crowded but the line always moves right along. I have my car loan there and was very happy with the transaction. I have also found the manager to be cordial and concerned about the service the branch is providing . Credit unions in general are so much better than regular banks. Betty Albright

My first and last experience with SEFCU. Was told a loan was approved by first employee (witnessed by 2 people) then told by the manager it was not. The first employee of course denies saying it was approved. This was a small loan of less than 30,000.00 with a co-signer. Co-signer alone has assets of about 3 million and debt of less than 400,000.00 and a credit score of around 800. The co-signer is writing this review. Do your homework and look elsewhere. Apparently Google and other reviews work as a higher up in the chain of command at SEFCU intervened and corrected their mistakes. It is sad that it has to go to this level. Hopefully a lesson learned for them.

I can't say enough good things about the SEFCU Glenmont branch. I've been a member for 9 years and of the couple hundred times I've gone there or dealt with them over the phone, it's has been nothing short of a pleasant experience. Absolutely recommend them 100%

This branch has a bunch of robots working for them. No smiles, no conversation, it's awkward just being in there. They talk amongst themselves and don't engage with their customers.

Extremely slow service. Got stuck in the drive thru line for 45 minutes both times, never again coming to this location!

Great banking with the branch, although they do get kind of backed up during lunch

Don't lose your wallet, you won't be able to get any money out of your account, very rude employee
