    Been with them for years!! Used to be ok. Within the past year to 2 years, On many occasions (even as I write at this time 2-20-22), the automated system is not working. I needed to transfer funds between accounts and it was an emergency. Wasn't able to get on at all this entire weekend!!! This is happening often!!! Getting ready to change banks immediately!! So disappointed!!

    absolutely do not use this credit union for anything. the very basic level of service required to be a functional business just isn't there. you cannot get them on the phone ever. i've spent weeks trying to call this bank to deal with banking errors entirely on their end. they hang up on me while waiting on the phone, they refuse to call me back if i leave messages, their website will occassionally lock your account with no ability to unlock on your own. you cannot get in touch with anyone. this is supposed to be a business, it is not. you owe it to yourself - find a better bank than this.

    Don't use them for an auto loan if you ever plan to move states. I have had a hell of a time getting my car registered in my new state. They tell me they don't have the title. After 3 more calls, oh we do have it. Then they say they have sent the title to the DMV and I even contacted to verify with them before I went. I arrive and no title is there. I am actually really disappointed in this level of accountability in business.

    Good service, the ladies are really nice and everything is done smoothly for me, the security guard is very much a weirdo and constantly likes to hit on me so ladies please be safe when leaving the bank, at first it wasn’t weird when he was saying hi and hello and saying bye to me when I left. But then it got even weirder he started asking for my phone number and asking how old I was and it was very much weird and made me uncomfortable like I’m just trying to take money out damn😭

    They have a very slow process on loans. My online account was disabled and they cannot seem to figure out what was going on. I cannot get approved for any loan products (credit cards and loans) so there’s no point of putting any money in here.

    A Good basic credit union but there is lots of room for improvement. If you get a credit card here don't expect to use it with ease. The fraud department here is on a hair trigger. The Security Plus Credit Card functions more like a purchase order over a certain amount. You basically have to get fraud department "approval" of any credit card purchase usually above $500.00. I've had Security Plus FCU put a credit hold on my purchase of an Eight dollar card I brought for a friend who just lost their pup. "IT WAS BLOODY UNREAL!" The staff, the savings \ share account and the checking accounts are first rate. The lines can be long and painfully slow at times. The staff is friendly yet professional most but not all of the time. The Credit Union is slow to post changes to your accounts. Like pay on a credit card balance don't expect to see the update for a day or so. No automated ability to pay on a credit card by phone. You must make a call, wait in a long cue listening to music and announcements, then endure a long painful security vetting process to finally pay down your credit card balance from your linked account(s). Security Plus Federal Credit Union is not a bad place to keep money but doing business does have an unsophisticated 1960's era pen & paper snails pace vibe it can't shake. They have computer based account management tools but you can't really do anything productive with them. When changes are made they take days to post or clear. Make too many changes or purchases in a short time period and it can take days for mistakes to correct themselves. Security Plus FCU is a great place to do business if your life is slow paced and leisurely. There are no crazy fees for everything which is awesome and why I give Security Plus FCU four stars. If you need a fast paced bank that can keep up with your fast paced life look elsewhere. If you just need a low to no fee place to hold your money while giving you infuriating basic hyper vigilant credit card services Security Plus FCU fits the bill exactly!

    The worst! CLAIMED there was fraud on my account. Cancelled my card and didn't notify me at all. I'm grateful for the protection, but the fact of the matter was that there was never any fraud. I confirmed the charges to my card, but at that point my card had already been cancelled. Why would you not notify the account holder??? This is quite the inconvenience and they're dragging their feet. On top of all of this. The fraud department is not communicating with member services. Do yourself a favor and join Navy Federal or a more reputable credit union. I'm headed out to withdraw my funds ASAP.

    Banked with them for over 7 years and I had an unauthorized charge go through my checking acct and they told me that because I purchase something before in the past from the merchant that they do not have an option to dispute. They have no updated resources to help you during a time of High Fraud. Additionally they have the worse atms, that are ALWAYS shutdown or that takes forever to process your information. Staff in branches are nice but customer service over the phone is beyond limited. They can't do nothing but hold your money. Removing my money and closing my acct.
