This is the worst bank!!! They put a hold on my check for several days after it cleared from the other bank. That's basically holding my money with no interest. I've banked with them for over five years with no issues on my end. It's unacceptable to do this to a loyal and very good customer. I am pulling my funds out of this account and closing it once they become available. I'm going to open an account with Chase. One star is too much!!!

Very disappointed how I was treated by Seacoast Bank. I started the process with Grace Monforte, a mortgage/construction loan representative. I brought everything she advised me to the bank over 6 weeks ago. After numerous emails, phone calls, text messages and delayed responses she didn't start the process until a week ago. I gave my builder $10,000 which she knew and yet never made us aware we wouldn't be approved. Every time I called her she treated me like I was bothering her by saying what's up. I felt I was ran through the ringer. My husband and I have an excellent credit score, no debt, and a large down payment. It was suggested to me to empty out my savings and borrow against my 401K. If I would have known this was going to be the final result, I wouldn't have wasted 6 weeks of my time. Seacoast this was a horrible experience. I know times are difficult but no one should be treated like I was treated with total disrespect.

The Bank's reaction to my documenting my severe illness to them was a Demand Letter threatening legal action if I do not pay $ 39,000 immediately. Two Vice Presidents spoke to me. Neither was interested in knowing what I can afford to pay. My Corporation has a perfect payment record during almost Four Years. Therefore, I believe that I do merit consideration.

Worst bank I ever had to the pleasure of experiencing. They persuaded me with, were a much better bank because we're smaller and local, you never need to worry with us, they gave me the friendly we will scratch your back if you scratch our back speech. Opened up the account, and ever since then it was just a pain. First off, without hesitation they just write the address that is on your licensee without asking you if this your current address, I caught them doing so, and told them specifically 3 times, I don't live in that address... But at last I was to late, going back and editing is apparently impossible but she reassured me she can fix this. Which guess what? Almost a month later she did not. My card was sent to Vero Beach and when I requested a new one I got it at the bank, but my pin was not working. After all that, I had a night on the town, which I over drafted on, that is alright my fault there, I will accept responsibility but they don't email you or text you anything like Bank Of America or Chase does, no they send you the letter in the mail everyday you're late its a 5$ charge. So they bank like they're still in the 20th century. I am very unpleased with this bank. What they could of done to correct it is just wave the over draft fee and just charge me exactly what I owed them and warm me that they send you mail through the post office to "warn" you of over draft fees. When I went to go pay my over draft fees and the clerk asked if I also want to close my account, that was the last straw. I TOOK THEIR OWN EMPLOYEES ADVICE AND I CLOSED THE ACCOUNT! Open up an account with Bank Of America or Chase right across the street from this bank.

I banked here for years. Tellers and personal are very friendly and there usually isn't too much of a wait, if any on the weekend.
