    Schools first has by far been my best banking experience thus far . The staff for me has been super friendly and knowledgeable. Wouldn't think of ever leaving this branch. Keep up your outstanding work schools first.

    Requires too much hoop jumping. Tried to open an account through my family and they didn't let me even though I met every requirement according to what my grandpa's local manager in Placentia said. Further, a California real id contains every bit of relevant information that a birth certificate has, with respect to my grandpa there is no additional information over my ID. A birth certificate has no way to prove I am or am not related to anyone but my mother and father. You all make no sense and some piddily middle manager was probably the one to come up with this I'd imagine. Nice reception, but I'm kinda miffed that the manager wouldn't speak to me directly, what am I? A second rate citizen?

    The SchoolsFirst ATM machine within Stater Bros Market in Big Bear Lake SHREDDED my debit card for no real reason, and I'm currently stranded 2700 miles from home as a result. A quick call to the SchoolsFirst branch in Redlands confirmed that they could honestly care less, offered no helpful information or even the slightest bit of concern that their machine caused an emergency situation. "Our hands are tied" and basically hung up on me. Ask yourself honestly - is this who you want to give your business to?

    Efficient, patient customer service and reliable, objective financial advice! One loan officer helped me twice when I needed to strategize. I believe it was Gordon. He was patient and helped my family figure out how to resolve an unexpected home repair cost and automotive costs. He went above and beyond, answered all of my questions and made it easy to move forward. Then, when he had his day off, he made sure Anitra had all the info to finish the paperwork with me. They were both fantastic! I let the manager, Maura, know each of the three times that the team was awesome!

    Best bank I have ever used. The staff is consistently friendly. They can notarize documents. They have a no cost coin star, books for kids to read, a drinking fountain, and a restroom! It seems crazy to be excited about a restroom but I have recently done business at another bank and was politely told that the only bathroom was at the neighboring restaurant. Really like this place, and the summer savings account interest rate is great.

    My husband and I recently came in for a car loan since my husbands truck was stolen and were immediately greeted with warm smiles. This definitely put us at ease. Lisa who helped us with our car loan was absolutely amazing! She answered all of our questions, and put us at ease about the whole process. She is super knowledgeable and I am grateful for her help. She even called us after we had left to give us a suggestion on where to get work boots for my husband, since his had been stolen with his truck. We will forever be grateful to her for making us feel better about the whole incident. Thank you Schools first! and Thank you Lisa!

    I have been with Schools First the 90s when I transferred from OC Fed Credit Union. Suddenly you cannot connect to the branch for quick help, while I know there is a person located at the front desk to help with basic issues that are not listed on the site. That person mostly stands there to greet people. All calls are directed now Instead to the 800# for all of So Cal from online, and on forms, with wait lines of 30-45 minutes. After 25 min waiting it gives option finally to be called back and that adds another 30-45 min. I use up my whole cell battery on hold. I’m glad I’m retired. I’d never get through from work, as most teachers cannot take phone calls. I’d live in the mountains and will need to address my question in person to the greeter at Sch 1st, the next time I go down the mountains to the Redlands office!!! Your customer service phone service 800# does not provide good Service anymore!!

    Probably my favorite bank. Always attentive and courteous to their customers. They offer a variety of services and can explain what they offer efficiently. The building offers an ATM on the outside that can give back denominations of bills as low as $5 which has been very helpful. The inside has an attendant who welcomes you as you come in and directs you to any service you may need.
