    The service advisor was polite and helpful. The problem with the cooling system (leak) was properly diagnosed and repaired. I was provided either an Uber ride to and from home as part of the service.

    I bought a used car thinking, this dealer would have done a decent inspection on the vehicle, however after arriving home with the vehicle I noticed a problem, which was a cheap fix for them, however it's been weeks since I could get a callback or anything. After about 13 calls I've given up. It's funny how this dealership has an average mark up price of eight thousand dollars, but they can't manage a 600 dollar fix. AND TO YOUR ROBOTIC REPLY NO THANKS ICE CALLED AND TRAVELED 400 MILES TO SEE YOU GUYS.

    I’ve been going to SDCDJR for about 7 years now and I receive great service when I’m there. I’ve recently worked with the Service Manager Jeremy and he went above and beyond to resolve an issue on a recall. Their communication system could use some work because they can be hard to get ahold of at times but I believe a lot of that has to do with COVID restrictions.

    My 2012 Maxima was totalled in a rear end collision (I was rear ended) on September 14th. I had limited time in my insurance paid rental car and had decided I wanted a Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk. Rick D'Andrea, my salesperson contacted me and set up and appointment. When I came into the dealership I was greeted immediately and sent to Rick. After introductions were done he took me to the lot the two Cherokees I was interested in were stored. Rick took me on a lengthy test drive and was very knowledgeable and helpful. He pointed out all the features of the vehicle and had me try each one. I decided on my Jeep and back to the dealership we went to get the financing squared away. I knew financing was going to be complicated as since I was just involved in the accident there was still a loan outstanding on the Maxima. After we worked through that I had explained to the finance manager that since my car had just been totalled, I really hadn't been saving for a down-payment (wasn't planning to buy a car!). When he then asked for a down-payment he said he'd give me 45 days to make my first payment so I agreed to it. I bought the car but I foolishly didn't check when the first payment would be due when I signed the contract (my fault for trusting a car dealer, and frankly my head was spinning with everything I was having to do related to the accident). I get my first bill about 15 days later and they only gave me 30 days, which gave me 2 fewer paychecks to recover (approximately $1,600 after taxes). As I now had the down-payment and the first payment due all at once, I explained how impactful this was to the finance department representative and asked if she could extend the time to pay the down-payment, her reply was you have to pay it, you shouldn't have signed the contract! Well thank you for your understanding and for pointing out the obvious! Guess the deal was done, no need for niceties! Update 10/16: I received 2 phone calls and an email from their finance department today and they asked me to explain my situation. They have agreed to extend the down payment requirement by 2 weeks. This provides much needed relief! I am adjusting my rating from 2 stars to 4 based on their willingness to work with me.

    Service wise, great place. However we dropped off our vehicle at 0700 and it was written to be finished at 6pm. Brian Smith told us this. About 4 hours after dropping it off we call to check on it and they report to us they are working on it still and we will be contacted in the evening. Evening rolls around and they close. We couldn't get our car. Basically this has been pretty inconvenient and a pain. I'd come back for service but I would be VERY on top of making sure your car gets done on time.
