I am a first time homebuyer and therefore needed a lot of information. I found my perfect home the day it listed and knew I needed to move fast in a sellers market. Rob spent his Sunday afternoon working the numbers for me, talking me through the home buying process over the phone, and answering any questions I had. He gave me a great interest rate with no closing fees, and I'm able to pay my mortgage off early without any penalties. In addition to all that, he offered financial advice and assured me he would be he would be there for me for the duration of my loan. I felt I was in excellent hands!

I worked with Rob to buy my first home, and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a lender. Buying my first home was an exciting yet sometimes overwhelming process. Rob and his team at MVB made securing financing and my dream home as painless as possible. I'd been pre-approved by another lender, made an offer on my current condo, and was under contract with my closing date less than 18 days away when my original lender had to take some time off for personal reasons. I was ready to throw in the towel, cut my losses and walk away from my dream home. My realtor reached out to a couple people and that's when I was introduced to Rob. We talked on the phone, I explained the situation to him and he told me not to worry, he was confident we'd still be able to make the closing date. I spent the next several hours calling a couple different lenders. Some seemed overly confident, others scoffed saying, "your closing is in how many days?!" Ultimately, I decided to go with Rob because he listened to my needs, cited several other closings he'd completed in a similar timeframe, knew my market, spoke honestly about areas where we might run into trouble, kept me informed about what was coming up next and always found time to answer my questions. We closed 3 weeks later. Throughout the process, what impressed me most was Rob's commitment to answering my questions honestly and with such detail.

Imagine this: you meet a lender you really trust and decide to work with him. Your plan is to buy in 6 months but 2 days after you meet the lender, you find your dream home. You call him at 8pm on a Sunday night and ask him how you can put in an offer on a house when you don't even have a realtor yet and the realtor you like is on their 1 family vacation for the year. The lender hops to, calls some great realtors and gets you set with an interim realtor until yours comes back in town. That was how my home buying experience went down and Rob was the lender. He's a hero. Throughout the process, Rob took tons of time to answer any and all of our questions. As long as I'm in Atlanta, I'll work with Rob!

Rob provided the best terms compared to 6 other lenders I was prequalified with. He made sure he explained my options thoroughly and the advantages and disadvantages of each one. I was out of town throughout the process and he took the initiative to work with my agent to close the deal. I highly recommend working with Rob.

Rob really helped walk us through the loan process and explain in detail all the questions we had. One thing I appreciated is Rob didn't say, "if you find a better offer I can beat it." He gave us his best offer of the bat and that saves both of us time.
