Normally I would've given 5 stars. For years I've used regions with no problems. Love them until I applied for a loan for closing on a house. I run almost 5000 or more a month through regions. First the last was not fluent in English so she spelled my place that I work wrong. I get denied. Here is where I'm more than mad. Sure to get misspelling my work name now even on airport for taxes it's trying to fill in some crazy spelling of a place that doesn't exist. It comes up on everything. I mean any time my credit stuff goes through. It comes up this place that a child could've spelled better. I'm more than mad Oh by the way I walked into my other bank where I hold accounts and run very little money through. I didn't even need any type of extra stuff like income tax forms not work checks. I was approved on the spot. By the way, with all of the check stubs I had to provide How do you misspell my work name

Mickey??The tall slim man with moustache in an office at Paddock Park almost made me lose my mind. Christina had a line up because she is so knowledgeable & respectful so I was stuck with him .2 other people chose not to see him. I literally had $170 missing from my SECURED LINE OF CREDIT! I drove 30 miles to this branch hoping to get help from Christina or Deborah & as I said 1 had a line up because of her talent & the other wasn't in that day/time. I repeated the amount, the day approximately, & that the transfer didn't show up but the money was missing & I didn't even have enough gas to get home or buy food & this was my money I secured the account with that was missing after attempting a transfer via android which I've done numerous times. Mickey looked & just sat mesmerized by the screen saying, "I don't see it, wow..." After 30 minutes & him asking me where, when, & how much again & repeating it now to "The lady in the back" by phone & screwing up the 3 things I kept having to retell him .He sat while she looked waiting for her to solve the problem like he was in the stands watching a game & not having his head in the game trying to solve this terrible technical error on the bank's end...no, Mickie? Just kept repeating wow, never seen anything like this before & told me him & the lady in the back couldn't see it so he didn't know what to tell me . Time wasted with Mickey? was over 45 minutes . I went to ask Christina for help & she logically went through & calculated how much was missing but had no data of transaction or deposit .Then she called on my behalf to Regions tech support & then they said the Secured Loan department should be able to help .She stayed until after closing until she got resolution .When she advocated I had been an honest customer & that the numbers & lack of transaction showing where the money went didn't add up the Secured Loan customer service found for no reason that they had a 'HOLD' on the missing money & agreed to release the HOLD .Long after closing she took 1 more step once they said they released the money-she checked to see by making a transfer to put the money into my checking like I tried to do 4 days prior when the money trail disappeared. It went in & I had my money back, could get gas & food on the way home . I wish Regions had training & customer care classes with Christina & Debora too & cut the dead weight that doesn't know & doesn't want to know attitudes . My line of credit was my start to positive credit & then the secured loan & my on time payments brought me up over 100 points in 5 months .This was through these relationships & customer care with these 2 women. Opened an account in July and still haven't received my ATM card. Came to the branch today and they gave me....a closed, non-functioning ATM card that was declined the first time I attempted to use it (on a $1 purchase). I called in and was told they gave me a non-working ATM card number. I've never heard of this happening in banking in my life. I can't believe I've sank so much time into this ordeal.

Travis gets 5 stars, very helpful, knows what he is talking about and very polite. Knows how to deal with his customers and is very understanding. However, only giving 4 stars because I was put on hold for 10 minutes by another employee, I hung up and called back and Travis answered and took care of the problem.

I have been using regions bank for years. Out of all the banks Iv dealt with this one in particular is always the friendliest. I recommend my friends to open an account at Regions if they want great customer service.

Yesterday I called to handle an issue with my account (the bank allowed my EXPIRED debit card to make a purchase on my account that put me in the negative), anyway, a gentleman, calling himself "Neeky" answers the phone, hears my problem, takes my information and is viewing my account. He then places me on hold to look things over with his branch manager. 10 minutes later, he picks up the phone and acts as if he has no idea who I am, claims he never took my information or even spoke to me! He tells me the manager is and has been in a meeting for quite some time. He also is insisting he's the only male that was present, eliminating the possibility I was speaking to someone else. When I finally got to speak to the branch manager, she hadn't been aware that I called until just a few moments prior (meaning he didn't ever go speak to he when he originally did). So I'm not sure if this guy took down all of my information in hopes to use it illegally and that's why he pretended to never speak to me or if he was intoxicated or just mentally unstable. Either way, I'm scared of who I gave my information to, and that man does not need to be working in a bank.
