We had the enormous pleasure of working with Rob at Raleigh Mortgage. Our home buying process was extremely complicated and without Rob we may not have been able to purchase the home. My wife and I had been working on building a home for almost 9 months and had worked with a dedicated broker from Caliber Home Loans the entire time. We had built a strong and trusting relationship with this broker and were nearly 3 weeks out from closing before being referred to Jason. Jason claimed to be able to save me nearly 1% on my mortgage and everything seemed too good to be true; if its seems too good to be true it usually is therefore we had a very difficult time changing mortgage brokers and trusting Jason. Well we took the "leap of faith" and Jason Iocavelli delivered in every way and so did the processor Nancy Gonsalves both of whom worked tirelessly; taking us from application to closing in less than 3 weeks! Even the closing attorney's office had rave reviews about how pleasurable their experience with Jason and Nancy had been! Jason drove nearly 3 hours on his own time to come to our closing and spent nearly 45 minutes afterwards chatting with us. Great originator who has your best interests in mind, very experienced and professional, and go to great lengths to honor their customers.

My brother and I recently closed on a house as first-time homebuyers. As some of you first-timers may relate, there was a lot of info out there about the various financing options! To be honest, we were most wary about the mortgage broker in comparison with something like a credit union or bank. We set up 3 separate meetings with reps for each of these financing options, one of which was with Mike. Not only did Mike provide us the best interest rate of the three and the lowest closing cost, he was the best at actually EXPLAINING what each of the line items meant. As newcomers to this whole process, there is a lot of information that quickly gets confusing; Mike helped us cut through the confusion, understand what exactly our options were and how various levers altered some of the numbers, and ultimately choose the best combination of rate/closing cost for us at the time. Brian, Mike and the team at RMG are awesome! I came to them after terminating my relationship with a different mortgage broker who, in my opinion, were not acting in my best interest. In two phone calls with RMG, we had a plan in place to be sure my closing date wouldn't be delayed. I highly recommend RMG and will use them again if/when I need to refinance or buy a new home.
