This was my first and last experience dealing with a private lender. The fact that i was not approved for a loan through them is irrelevant. Though waiting 6+ weeks for them to determine this (per very blunt email from John Thomas) is just unacceptable. What was more disconcerting was their lack of response to my emails, voice mails and their overall courtesy. Kudos to those of you who received excellent customer service.

Out of all the houses we've purchased in our lifetime, this was by far the smoothest experience. John's office is a true team environment. From the start we had all our information taken by a friendly, knowledgeable woman. The file was given to John and his loan partner to review. There were a couple things we needed to clear up on our credit. They were able to give us a detailed action plan to get it done in a timely manor. They got us pre-approved and referred us to Lakeisha & Herb Cunningham as our real estate agents, who were amazing!! Once we had an offer our file was given to what John calls a "Loan Concierge" who pretty much held our hand through the entire process. All of our questions were answered quickly and accurately. I couldn't believe how fast and easy this purchase was. I can't say enough good things about this team!
