Their “solution team” that was dealing with a paycheck from my job that went missing.Over the course of 3 different phone calls with three different agents, they told me that my check was nowhere to be seen and that it would automatically get refunded back to my work since they don’t have it.. meanwhile 3 weeks later I call again and they had it all along. No urgency or care for the customer who has bills to pay

    Response from the owner

We're sorry that's been happening Andrew, but thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. If you'd like, leave us a private message with your contact info and we'll have someone from our team reach out to you directly.

If I could give this credit Union negative stars, I would. I have been banking here for 10 years. Boulder Valley was amazing, these people are slow, never return emails and Jane, the branch manager in Westminster, has the personality of a 12 year old of "I don't care". I have had it with them, I couldn't be happier about going there tonight and taking out all my money. Be warned, all the reviews are true, this place sucks!!

    Response from the owner

Sorry to see you go, Michael, but thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback - your feedback is how we improve. If you'd like, send us a DM with your contact info and we'll have someone from our team get in contact with you.

Terrible lender! They up charge with no notice, my payment went from 307 to 469 with no notice. They didn't have my insurance although I still have the same insurance provider as when I purchased the car! They complained my deductible is to high, it was sat at 2000 when I got the car! I'm over it, going to refinance to a different lender!

Every single time I use the drive thru (apx 6 times since opening an account), the wait time just for someone to even acknowledge I’m there is normally 5-6 minutes. Then when the teller finally comes to the window it takes another 5 or 6 minutes to process my deposit/withdrawal. That is totally unacceptable and I’ve decided to close my account, no matter what a pain that is to do.

    Response from the owner

Hey there, Sally. Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback, it's how we improve! We've brought this up with the team - feel free to send us a DM with your contact info and we can have someone reach out to you.

Been banking with them for 18 years- more issues this year than ever before. Failure to send notices of suspicious activity, failure to notify me of freezing my account due to suspicious activity, and still allowing automatic transfers to go through when I cancelled them. Last, this morning when I called to fix the automatic transfer problem (again) Grant treated me as if I was an idiot. I was in tears by the end of the call- I monitor my account closely (even with more vigor as these issues have been happening) and I am very aware of what goes in and out. He continued to argue with me, kept repeating the same thing over and over again, and was NOT paying attention. Eventually I told him that I would be speaking with his supervisor, that if he was unwilling to work with me I would work with someone else. Lo and behold his advisor was actually able to understand and work toward remedying the problem. I would give two stars if it wasn’t for my continued contact with Grant through email- again, receiving condescending emails from him. I was asked to sign a form from DocuSign- which has false information. I asked it to be changed before I sign. And OF COURSE, he is assuming that I am wrong. Do yourself a favor and go to a big bank with great or even decent customer service and people who are able to tell the difference between a deposit and a withdrawal. Oh- and maybe a bank that actually communicates when issues arise.

    Response from the owner

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback, Sierra. We're always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback helps us do that. We've obviously fallen short of our customer service standards here - we've forwarded this up and would like to have someone from our management team reach out to you. Can you send us a private message with your contact information?

Slow tellers every time I'm here. System issues constantly. Never greeted when I come in more are others. This is a safety issues, as a financial institution you should greet every person who walks in your doors. It's also nice as a customer to know you saw me come in, thank me for my patience.... just customer service is all.

This branch has an inexperienced teller Theresa who does not know how to work right. I went to withdraw money from my DCU account; she asked my ID and SSN. She wrote my last 4 of SSN on her notepad, that’s wrong thing to note. And she wanted my previous Illinois ID which I used to open my account long 10 years back. Madam- you have to check current picture ID and validate address, social etc for security. But you have to learn that we don’t have to update ID number in any bank account profile, and you have to learn that IDs expire. In the system and account profile- you can see my latest address. I showed you my latest ID with same current valid address. You were checking something wrong at wrong place in your system. You don’t know how to work. I really pity on your boss who hired you and managing you, it’s shame that you said your boss / colleagues also told you that you were right when you double checked with them. guys- try to avoid going to this branch. Even DCU customer service professional also tried to explain Theresa a lot over phone, but Theresa said NO to help with money withdrawal. She has lot of attitude and feels like she is bossy, no apology no courtesy she doesn’t know how to work and how to treat people and customers. I was in need of cash. I know there is withdrawal limit on shared branch account. That’s why I visited couple of shared co-op banks to withdraw my money. I went to Canvas CU, Elevations CU, Horizons North CU, and also even the different close by Premier Members CU branch on Federal Blvd, they were all able to verify my ID and all security stuff as per CO-OP bank system and gave my money. The worst teller and branch so far I visited in my life. I don’t know if it’s something wrong with just this teller or if this branch has some nasty rules as Theresa verified; better to avoid this branch. Actually I have respect and I like all Credit Union banks including Premier Members, but not this branch.

Worst customer service. I went through the drive thru for a simple deposit. I dealt with a teller named Veronica. She greeted me with, "we are busy so I will get to your transaction when I can." Then walked away, five minutes later she rudely tells me that I'm missing things on my form. So I gave her my ID and her response was "REALLY?" I told her I would like to speak with her manager and she states, "well then come inside!" As I went in, she announces in front of other customers that her manager knows I'm here and I would have to sit down. She kept insisting that I sit down. I heard her talk with other customers about my issue with her. I have never experienced such disrespect to a customer before. When I talked with her manager, he had no idea of the issue. She never told her manager of the problem. I asked him if there was a survey that I could take about my experience and he said no. This bank deals with a lot of different customers from a lot of different credit unions and the fact that they are treating others as rude as this makes customers want to switch completely from credit unions back to corporate banks. At least they will appreciate business. There is no professionalism at this branch besides the management. They need to train their tellers better because they are the face of the branch. With this experience, I will be transferring my business else where. If you get the same treatment, I highly suggest you do the same.

I've been a member with them for 22 years. They have started acting very much like Well's Fargo. They pulled my credit lines for no reason other then wanting to recollect new closing costs. You'd be better off with the benefits of going with a big bank if you have to put up with the same type of self-interest/profits behavior. I will be closing all of my accounts and just using my Firstbank of Colorado accounts. At least with them I can expect that behavior.

    Response from the owner

We're sorry to hear you've had a poor time, Jeff. Please feel free to send us a DM with your contact info, that way we can put you in touch with a team member to help identify the issue - we'd love the chance to resolve it for you.

I like it. Good customer service when I go inside and after several frustrating drive through experiences that's all I do. When inside everyone is friendly and helpful. For some reason the drive through is not a priority. Pretty good interest rate they pay on money market accounts too!

    Response from the owner

Thanks for the stars, Brad! We try our best to make every member a priority, but are constantly looking to improve in all areas of service, so thanks for the constructive criticism - we'll pass that along. On that note, have you passed along the info about our Money Market Account? We have a pretty sweet referral program that you can earn $50 per referral. Next time you're inside your branch, ask your teller about it.
