Giving this branch one star is one star more than they deserve. Their staffs are completely incompetent, and extremely unprofessional when it comes to doing their jobs. I went in for a simple withdrawal and was accused of fraud for no apparent reason. They asked me personal questions on the reason why I wanted to make a withdrawal, and when I refused to answer the staff accused me of fraud and tried to close my account for review. After a long process I was able to get my withdrawal since there was nothing wrong with my account in the first place. The staff has made a simple transaction uncomfortable and unnecessarily complicated. I would recommend AVOIDing this place at all costs.

I was worried going in here after seeing a lots of negative reviews on Google map, but my experience was definitely positive. The staff who helped me open an account was super friendly and helpful and even took time for me to explain super basic questions about the meanings of bank-account-related terms I wasn’t sure of.

Ive always had a good experience with pnc except for this branch. I went into open and close an account. You thought that id asked them to perform a colonoscopy.I also applied for a credit card through them and was expecting a call back. Im try another branch otherwise im switching banks.

I have a great relationship with my bank! They have helped with personal banking, my wife’s business banking, home equity loan and more. Brenna and her staff are friendly, responsive and professional. Another big plus being a business owner is Brenna is very involved in the community and she is passionate about helping sbo’s.

The staff was not only incompetent and unprofessional, but have complete disregard for the customer's time and privacy. By the time I left the branch, everyone there knew what I was there for because the lady did not know what she was doing, and to get information she yelled across to her co-workers who are helping other customers. There were so many times when I felt I could've done better given I have no experience. For example, to get into contact with PNC, their very own company, she called MY cell phone, not once but twice, until I told her what she was doing. One time I called her and she told me via the phone that everything was ready, and so I went and wait only for her to tell me it actually wasn't. Also, if they tell you that they will call you back after getting information, do not believe them. I gave them two full weeks and numerous tries at calling me back and personally going to the bank to complete a simple wire transfer; granted it was a larger sum it is still not acceptable. I ended up going to another branch to get what I needed. If you absolutely have to come here, I suggest that you go/call another branch to get all the information you need first. It is highly likely that you will need to be the one that's knowledgeable and have common sense.

The worst bank in the world! We are just comparing who is tge worst criminal at this point. Understaffed. No customer service. I called them six times today and no one answered. They closed my accounts on me while I was there because I made a mistake on a wire transfer. I went back to correct and I was told my accounts would be closed in 10 days after doing business with them for 18 years. I called yesterday to verify what day the accounts would be closed I was told next Tuesday. I woke up this morning and my checking abd savings were closed. I had to go open an account at a new bank and as a result missed a doctor's appoinment. These people incompetent to say the least.

Absolutely horrible. We came heart-broken to deal with my late fathers estate. They were so disrespectful and lacked even an ounce of compassion. Sean ended up changing/closing some accounts without letting us know, so it’s been an absolute headache trying to pay credit card bills since he didn’t give us any warning. I tried calling to complain, but of course no one picks up after I select 3. Stay away from this branch.

Sara is AWESOME. Give her a raise

We applied for a credit card at this branch. After more than about a month, and several visits, I still haven't heard anything from them. I got approved for a credit card with another well-known credit company, and received my card two weeks ago.

I love PNC Bank and the services it provides. However, this location is not as helpful or professional as the N. Atherton location. Every time I happen to be downtown and stop by the E. College Ave location, they are not willing to help me with certain things that the N. Atherton location has no problem helping me out with, like figuring out how to do balance transfers to the PNC card. I'm not sure if they are just lazy or unwilling to help because the downtown location caters to students, but I have had terrible customer service downtown and when I got in my car and drove up to the N. Atherton location, they were more than willing to help me and were happy about doing so. I also had a negative experience at a different time at the downtown location where they would not let me deposit a check that was signed over to me because the person who signed was not present (who was my husband -- same last name and everything). I went right up to the N. Atherton location and they were fine with depositing it. There is a huge difference in the quality of customer care and customer service at both locations. I actually avoid going downtown now to do any of my transactions. I have loyalty to the N. Atherton location because they are very friendly and positive.
