I was trying to set up an account with a bank that had branches out East for when I move from Colorado. This was a big change as I maintained an account and close relationship with Great Western Bank for years. Yet PNC made this transition the smoothest it could have ever been while offering me further additional benefit to my assets. Every motion towards this goal of safety, transparency, and utility was exceptionally handled by Devlin. As he rolled up his sleeves to find me the best accounts that match my spending habits, secured me a credit line that I tried for years to set up at my previous bank, and he even provided a tremendously invaluable opportunity to have a financial consultation with James; a very knowledgeable and personable finance professional to discuss my future. Every option, product, and question that I had was presented with integrity, professionalism, and compassion that made feel like PNC is not only the best decision I have ever made with my money, but the safest choice I could have made for my life.

I've had mixed feelings but tried to stay optimistic after PNC bought out BBVA. Well, since then, I've been hit with fees from my credit cards and loan companies when payments don't go through using my new checking account number (randomly, can't figure out when it'll happen or when it won't). Since then, my card has been compromised several times - that's unpleasant on its own, but I'm writing this review at 10:50pm on a Friday night, after using my card several times today, and it's been deactivated yet again. No forewarning whatsoever, no notification, no one calling to ask if I made a transaction, nothing. I'm sitting here after work, can't get dinner or groceries, can't get cash back, can't get gas to work tomorrow, can't transfer funds to another card, NOTHING. Again, with absolutely no notification whatsoever. Thank God PNC is open for a few hours on Saturdays, so I can pull my money out tomorrow and cancel this garbage checking account for good. EDIT: Upon going into the branch, PNC was unable to tell me why my card was randomly deactivated (seriously). Also, my apologies for being so upset at the time of writing this review; nothing against the employees, they've always been kind to me, but I would *NOT* recommend this bank. Great employees, awful bank.

I've been banking with pnc for several years. I was disappointed when I moved to Colorado and there were no local branches in state. now that we have one here I am very happy! especially after my horrible experience with bank of Colorado! at pnc I know I can trust my money is safe, on a number of occasions I've had to have unknown charges reversed, and they have always been very quick to help me out! Definitely recommend!!! of all the banks I've used pnc has always been the best

Time and time again, Danielle recognizes me and is extremely personable! I even drove a different car to the drive up, and she still recognized me. Honestly I’m a member of a few different banks and BBVA, as a company, is not always the highest utility of what I need, but Danni and her branch manager continually impress me with many work around a and amazing service. Because of them this remains my main bank account.

Went through the whole process of getting a HELOC, they said no problem even congratulated me on approval. Poor communication, pinged my credit multiple times, Strung me along and after three months they turned it down. Complete waste of my time. Got approved in less than a week at the credit union.

I want to be clear -I am not giving a poor review because we were unable to get the loan. This poor review comes from the fact that when I requested an explanation, so that I would know what I need to improve on financially, I never got a response from Stefanie. I understand what it is to be busy, but to send an email out -that's very impersonal, when we worked so hard to try to get a loan, and then never respond about the 'why' is extremely negligent on her part. ~Here's some free advice for all professionals: "You might not have a current customer but when you handle all customers with care you keep them as future customers! So, if my book hits the bestseller list and I'm looking for a bank, BBVA - you're out

Tried to get a HELOC after they advertised an amazing deal and they came recommended. After dragging me on for two months, making a giant typo that caused by application to go to a fraud alert, and overall terrible communication they have stopped my application and the deal has passed. The banker I was working with quit, was fired, or disappeared during the process. Go anywhere else. It couldn't be worse.

Have multiple accounts here and will be switching asap. Continuous problems on all my accounts, accounts are NOT secure, no guarantees on the way my accts are set up to protect from people, and I got absolutely NO help from them, tried at branch, phone and management level. Wish I would have switched a long time ago.
