I am not a PNC customer, but I used their ATM to withdraw funds, the largest bills available were $20, I went inside to exchange the $20 bills for large bills. I was told they couldn't do that because I didn't have an account and that even though the ATM is on their property it's really not theirs and can't verify I withdrew the funds. I asked to speak to a manager, refused and just asked another teller to explain why they couldn't exchange the bills for me. I have had to exchange small bills at other banks with no issues.

I’m not a customer at this bank, but I walked across the parking lot to pay the meter and the guy working at the parking lot came out screaming and yelling at me thinking I parked at the lot. I told him i parked outside on the street and he just shrugged off. This is not the first time he screamed and yelled at me. Once he chased me into a restaurant and screamed at me in the restaurant for the same reason. I didn’t even parked in their parking lot. I’m close to reporting him for chasing me. I felt threatened and scared of this guy. I don’t think he is doing a good job if he is assuming anyone walking across the parking lot is parked there illegally.

I went to checkout and cashout, but I was told that I couldn't cashout because I didn't have an account. As expected, a small bank is too unfriendly. The fort lee branch is kindly handled.

I have been a customer at this bank about 20 years. I opened a Chase acct 5 years in but decided to keep PNC my active acct bc the staff was just wonderful. Keeping that in mind, the staff was changed about 9 months ago, understanding that this could happen for many good reasons, I continue to go to this branch. However, the experiences I have had there over the last 6-10 months with the new staff has been unpleasant and they have been minor banking needs as minor as changing cash into quarters and deposits. It is a shame that after banking with PNC for so long, I will be closing my account totally due to rude, bad customer service. Also note: I have 2 adult kids that I was pushing to PNC, not anymore and PNC is a block away from my house, Chase is a drive away and I am still willing to make this change. I am not one to review places but this just has me that bummed out.

Went to there drive thru early in person during quarantine to inquire about closing my secured account and potentially open a business account. The teller took all my information and stated someone named Jenny will call me that day because it’s by appointment only. Nonetheless, I waited three days and never receive a phone call. I will be closing all three of my Pnc accounts and will be taking my business to another bank today.

I have been banking with PNC Bank in Fort Lee for 7 years . They gained my trust, the staff is friendly . However, last year the manager of the branch suggested that I should switch my merchant account (Credit card processor) to PNC bank so everything would be much easier for me. NOT REALLY Unfortunately, every thing turned out to be a nightmare. I got bombarded with numerous calls from the Merchant account representative and the next thing I knew he was at my office ready to seal the deal. Frankly, I told him that I was not interested since I was already working with my credit card processor with no problems for over 7 years. The rep insisted that, I would have many benefits and that if I sign for the account, it would not be active until I provide the code that would process the transactions. Within the next days I received a call from PNC bank Merchant services asking for the code to what I said that I was not ready to do the move yet due to some updates that I need it to apply to my business. His reply was "call us when you are ready" The next thing I saw, my account was debited 3 times for the amount of $21.99 , then, another charge for $291.00 and lastly a $721.00 for a total of over $1000.00 and monthly charges in less than months. My business accounts were even modified as a result of this Merchant deal and I ended up being charged monthly $50.00 for each account for "business analysis charge" I contacted merchant services they could not even find my account. Although they already deducted my bank account with over a $1,000.00 I called the branch and visited numerous times and no one had any answer, they kept saying that the representative who visited would call me but no one did nor anyone in the branch knew how to explain the charges. The Merchant services rep that once called me a million times and visited my office so eagerly never called me back to follow up despite of being told to do so. After 4 months of no resolution form the branch, I contacted, PNC bank directly someone said that those charges were made for early termination fee of the contract, that I was locked in a 3 year contract and since I did not activated the account , I got an early termination fee of $720.00 plus other additional charges. Be cautious , I felt betrayed by my own bank who was so fast to reach out to my account to deducted my money but not able to resolve my problem. For over 4 moths I have not gotten a refund nor any a resolution. I hope PNC bank resolve my problem . I will update this review soon. UPDATE 2/24/2016 After 5 months asking for the promised refund. I got a call for PNC Bank saying that they are sorry to communicate that they will not refund the over $1000.00 they debited from my account.

This bank does not deserve a star. They do not deserve clients. The staff here are pretentious (!), rude, and lack any customer-service skills. None of them are courteous and lack professionalism on all levels. Unqualified staff is one thing, but being rude and obnoxious to clients is another level. Just don't go here.

While I was at PNC Bank, I was in disbelief how wonderful the staff was. They were very direct, sharp, and professional. I met with Michele to process transactions and learn more about their credit card options- she exceeded my expectations and explained everything in an orderly manner.

THESE untrained PEOPLEs TREAT YOU SO BAD INCLUDED KOREANS. what kind education program this bank has? I write additional letter to President of Bank and State of NJ Banking & Insurance Dept commissioner. They requst documents those were not suppose to be asked, and refuse services. I went Fort Lee Branch right after this, of course address change was done in 3 minutes by educated teller. Thanks for Karina Romero.
