Peoples Bank E Cuyahoga Falls Ave, Akron

Had so many problems with this bank since getting an account. Was told all checks will be held for 7 days (ended up being 7 business days) for the first 30 days. Deposited a check after 30 days and was told that it’s 30 business days and I’d still have to wait 7 business days for my check which I need to pay bills. Then they made the money available, I spent some and they made the check pending again, then said I’d be charged a overdraft fee for their mess up. Can not wait for my checks to clear to I can get my money out and close this account, rather deal with a different bank that explains things correctly instead of saying one thing and meaning another.

If I could give no stars I would. Went there for notary service on a vehicle title and they do not know the law. Only the seller signature has to be notarized!!! So they gave us a hard time, were rude and don't have the knowledge they should have to be a notary. Had to get bank manager involved and she seemed possibly racist and just wanting people to hurry up and leave "HER" bank.

Horrible bank they closed my account and then charged me 10 dollars to cash a check that they wrote me. Definitely will.neber recommend this bank to.anyone.
