Edit I gave this pawn shop 5 stars they were the best in town and my family and I have spent thousands here until i realized they sold me over a 360 dollar game console that they new was broke, I took it back less then a month later and tried to play once in that time and the hdmi port was broke on the inside and couldn't get a picture and it cost more to fix then the console is worth. They would not give a refund even with my receipt so they just took my money then told me that's not our problem. Highly reccomend using any pawn shop but this one. They sell junk for money. Staff was completely disrespectful and treated me less then human and I had a witness to how I was treated then the worker tried to use the gun on his hip to intimidate me. They use to be a good pawn shop and treated me with complete respect that's why my family only buyed from them and all my friends. Well my money is good everywhere so people please steer clear of this scam shop. Yes if I could get a main manager to contact me I would like to have a talk and file a report let alone file charges for a threat with a firearm. We will now spend thousands on our guns anywhere else and I will be sure everyone I can get shops somewhere else. At one point the worker told me to f off... get a professional staff instead of young punk kids me no respect.

This is the place to shop Lance and the guys are very helpful .tools Great prices thay go out of there way to help me with whatever I am needing.

I visited with the owner today when I redeemed my firearm. He explained to me that the issue/change in payment/redemption terms was due to a software issue they had no control over. It still doesn't make right what happened, but the issue has now been resolved. I retract my statement below and I have adjusted my star rating. "I really liked these folks until today. I went to pay interest on my pawn and I wanted to make additional payment towards the principle. I was told that is not allowed and they don't do that any longer. A person can only make monthly interest payments until they can afford to go in and redeem the note in full all at once. Gradually paying down the principle is not allowed. I have been around awhile and never heard of a policy or practice like this from a legitimate business. Even if it is legal it is not ethical. I personally would never treat people in this manner. All I can say is BEWARE and ask plenty of questions before you pawn anything here if you intend to get it back."

I was in there today christmas shopping and let me tell you they are the best pawn shop i have ever dealt with the staff was incredibly friendly as well as worked well with me and made sure i left with a smile on my face

I bought a Lawnmower from there. I used it for about 20 mins & it stopped working. I contacted the owner and he told me I’m the one that messed it up. He told me to take it in so he can fix it and I got it back and it was flooding with oil and won’t even start now. The last time I buy from here !

I would give 10 stars if I could, these guys are the best, helped us out when we needed it, and was able to buy the guitar back for the same amount he gave us for it, super friendly and excellent customer service, this is how businesses should be! Recommend highly, you guys rock!🤟

I visited Pawn Central and A-Ok Pawn today and Pawn Central is by far the best pawn shop in the city. Better people and better prices on merchandise and I was offered more money for my items. A+A+A+ this is a 5 star business.

They add hidden charges when you pawn your things. They have a devious system set up that is different than any pawn shop I have went through. Even if you keep paying your interest payments the whole principal keeps increasing making it easy to sell your stuff before you get it out. I had several different things in pawn and they misapplied my payments so they could sell my rate vintage guitar I only had in there for a little. The short you on gold and silver and will replace the stones on your rings with fake ones while they are in pawn, like my wife's diamond on her wedding ring, that we had to pawn out of desperation.

The staff understands that stuff goes sideways at times and they’ll Bend over backwards to help solve issues that arise when you get paid every few weeks , it can be hard to stretch things .. they seem to care for their customers

The gentleman that helped me wasWONDERFUL!!! He answered my questions and treated me with dignity and respect. Someone on Yelp gave them a 1 and said how bad they were, well they didn't go to where I did my business!!!!! Best pawn broker ever, would never go anywhere else!!!
