If I could give less than one star, I would. You do NOT want to have any service done here. They do not disclose the price up front for all charges, tried to charge me over $300 for a part covered under my warranty (which another dealership in the area told me costs a little over $100 (WITHOUT even using a warranty)). We later brought in another vehicle because the rear video screen was broken on the entertainment system (VES), the dealership never called back, stating they thought I would call them, closed. The next day they stated they would have a solution, only to call me and tell me I had to pay $50 to get the car back and they did not know why it wasn't working. But if I wished to pay another $50 they would look into it some more. I stated I would not pay them $50 to tell me simply "it's broken", I know its broken, that's why I brought it in. They said I couldn't have the car back unless I paid them $50. I said I wanted to talk to the service manager. They stated they would contact him and have him call me. They then closed again with no call back leaving me without my car for another 2 days (through the weekend). On Monday I finally called back because they still had not contacted me by 10 and they said the service manager still was not available. I was now without my car for 4 days (which was working fine before I brought it in, other than the video screen for the kids being broken). I went to get my car stating I couldn't be without it any longer, I had to leave them with a credit card number and now told I had to pay over $100, because they told me my brake pads were low and needed replacing soon. Seriously? They said I could avoid paying the $50 for telling me my brake pads needed replacing if I paid them another $400 to replace my pads. I told them when I dropped it off myself that they were low because it just started squeaking and wanted confirmation and to know how much it would cost to do it. I was also told they would flush my radiator, replace my air filter, and a few other minor 'tune-up's' but that would then cost me over $1,000. You have got to be kidding me!! I purchased the parts to do the work myself, other than the brake pads, and their quote of over $600 of work for that, cost me under $20 and less than an hour of work. The $400 brake pad replacement I am taking to another dealership where it will cost me under $200 for everything. You can do it yourself for about $100 in parts, but my time right now is limited so I opted the convenience of having it done. $200 vs $400 and a lot of dishonesty and poor business practices. Decide for yourself. I will never go to this dealership again, for anything. I will drive the 3 hours round trip to go to Elizabeth City if I need OEM work done before I ever go here again. There are other dealerships in the area that can work on your car, even though they are not a Dodge dealership. Go there to find a better price and service.

I called Junior Suttle about a 2016 Power Wagon he had on his website. He gave me a great price over the phone, drove down that day from Chesapeake VA and purchased the vehicle. Vehicle out front shining like a new penny and temporary tags were already on it. He had all paperwork ready when I got there and everything went very smooth. I have bought a lot of new vehicles and this was the best experience I have ever had. In and out in about an hour and a half. Thank you Mr. Suttle and Staff.

I had 2 windows repaired & my a/c compressor (4th one) Harvey the parts manager told us 4 times, our part was not there. We got the tracking number and verified it was there, but still had issues with them saying it wasn't. The only way to get these people to do anything that they were supposed to do was by our insurance company getting them and us on a 3 way call and letting them know it was being recorded. They would not release my Jeep to me unless we paid $434.16 in cash, for the labor that they put into fixing THEIR part failure. HUGE MESS! Made us go get cash at 7:30pm. That was the owner taking the word of this new counter girl (that said we were not rude to us, but told the owner we cussed her out) instead of what really happen. We will go to Chesapeake from NOW ON. This is the worst experience we have ever had with a auto service. They even went so far as to tell us that the a/c compressor would likely fail again before we know it.

HORRIBLE- While vacationing in the Outer Banks my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee broke down- some electrical/transmission issue I am assuming. Needless to say it will not make it back home. I called the dealership, frantic obviously. They were so unconcerned and could not see me until 1 week out. I am scheduled to leave in 3 days. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife took our Jeep Compass (110,000 miles) to Outer Banks Chrysler Dodge Jeep (OBX CDJ) while visiting her parents in Kill Devil Hills because she was not able to put the car in gear. I thought the issue was with the slave cylinder (hydro fluid level was a bit low) and figured they'd replace it. Instead they replaced the clutch bearing and slave cylinder, replaced the drive axle shaft, and installed a new passenger front hub bearing. In addition to an oil change, tire rotation, alignment, and adding antifreeze, the total cost was $2,422.94. They also told my wife that the engine mounts need to be replaced soon. When she got home (4-hour drive with two screaming babies), I went to drive to the store and instantly noticed a very loud noise and impact sensation coming from below my feet. This happened just by turning the car on. I backed the car into a better spot to have a look underneath and when I turned the wheel it sounded as though the CV joint on the passenger side was gone. I had my neighbor sit in the car and torque the engine while I looked under it, and noticed that a bolt holding a u-shaped beam to the undercarriage was loose. Every time the engine was given a little gas, the bar moved and then banged back into place. I tightened the bolt just past snug and drove it to our local dealership the next day. We use our local Jeep dealership in Raleigh for all major work and have been very happy with their performance. I feel that their techs receive excellent training and can solve any problem. The dealership tightened the bolt to spec, looked around to see if anything else looked obviously amiss, and sent me on my way. I noticed immediately that, while the loud noise was gone, a similar but much quieter noise was still there. I remembered what my wife said regarding the engine mounts being bad and relayed that information to my dealership when I took the car back in today. My dealership reported that they think the noise is coming from the axle shaft, which was an aftermarket part and had a little (too much) play in it. They felt 99% sure that this was the problem but couldn't be sure unless and until they removed the SurTrack axle and replaced it with the correct Mopar part. <Long exhale.> They also said they checked the engine mounts and they looked good and tight. Hmmmm. I called OBX Chrysler Dodge Jeep and spoke to their service adviser. She told me that my dealership was flat wrong, that OBX CDJ only uses OEM/Mopar parts. She was certain because she orders the parts herself. I called my dealership back and relayed this information to them. They responded with some really beautiful photos of the axle, clearly showing the brand (SurTrack) and part number (CH-8111 13239). I called the OBX service adviser back and relayed this information to her. She said that she only writes up the tickets, but that she is sure they only use OEM/Mopar parts, and she'd have Harvey call me when he gets to work tomorrow (12/17). I have instructed my dealership to take out the SurTrack axle and replace it with the correct Mopar axle (Part No. R5273438AG). The cost will be $538.55. It's up to me to pay for it and then attempt to be reimbursed by OBX CDJ. We are a single income, single car family, it's a week before Christmas, and we have to travel to north Florida for the holidays and a family wedding. Awesome. I will update this post after I talk to Harvey tomorrow. At this point, let's hope Harvey does the right thing. Either way this is going to be online and available to anyone who searches Google for "OBX Jeep dealership." This can either play out as "We made a mistake and will make it right," in which case I will give a 4-star rating, or they can deny and be evasive, in which case we get the Better Business Bureau involved, and I use all of my skills as a tech writer and SEO consultant to make every interested Google user aware.

I couldn't believe how this o'l man disrespected us. We tried to ask questions and he acted as if our questions were stupid. Then we attempted to negotiate prices on one of his Jeeps. We really wanted to buy a JEEP, for our beach here, since we are locals. He furthermore explained that he was the owner. I don't remember his name because I was so thrown for a loop of from his abnoxioux behavoir. He acted as if he really didn't care. We left!! And will NEVER GO BACK!

Beware the parts department robbing you. I needed a backordered part for a Dodge Truck part number 52107847ak shift cable. I talked to a woman can't remember her name. I asked for the Parts Manager and she said she was the parts Manager. She told me this part would be $150.00 plus tax and shipping. I checked with my local dealer and they say retail is $102.99. When I asked why shes wasn't giving us the correct price she said it because it is for an older car. My local Leith dealer is getting it from another dealer for us and the total is $91.00 out the door. Sad to be ripped off. Your service will not go un noticed. Looks like your reviews are already in the toilet.
