    Just had an unpleasant experience visiting a bank staff at this branch. His nametag was James, but I only remember his unprofessional attitude. He did not introduce himself, was not knowledgeable, and was very arrogant. I have been with OCCU for eight years now and recall how it used to be a reliable bank offering many affordable services. But, experiences such as these, especially in regard to loans and financing, have made it very difficult for me to stay as a member. And that's why I have looked for another credit union bank where I am welcomed and valued as a customer.

    Easy process for membership. Completed online and approved same day. Initial transfer from my old bank took a few days longer than I’d imagine it should take. In my partner’s account, they held her tax refund check for 7 days—which seems a bit too long. Also—they limit the amount you can transfer in to 1k per transaction and 2500 per day. That doesn’t make sense to me. I’d like to transfer all of my money from my old bank and it seems that the only way to do so will be to go in to the old bank and withdraw the cash then drive to the credit union. Have spoken to customer service twice on telephone and they were very nice and helpful. Still—much better than Wells Fargo

    Having dealt with the major banks in my 15+ years , opening a credit union account was a refreshing change. Credit unions are there to serve depositors, not faceless shareholders demanding high dividends and squeezing profits from every penny. I mainly do my banking online and so far, I have experienced no major hiccups when it comes transfers, bill pays or online transactions. I plan on using more in person services after the county starts opening up.

    Shame on the manager of this Branch, employees are the reflexión of management, I showed up today 9:00 am to make a deposit, I left at 9:12 am. with out banking, one clerk helping one customer, three more customer and myself waiting for service. I will take my business some where else, this branch is a joke

    I personally feel this bank has great customer service in person, as well as over the phone. The ATM does run out of money and sometimes it will be down for a few days. Overall by far my favorite bank at the moment.

    Been with OCCU 20+ years. Prior I tried many banks and never got the quality of service I get here. My children and grandchildren bank here as well. Would not consider anywhere else.

    My name is Carl E Hinerman Member since 1987 I'm legally blind so I know when people are nice. O.C.C.U employees are extremely nice people. They always go out of there way to help me. Example friday 5.21.21 I brought in A coffie can full of coins I didn't even have to ask how to use there coin star I think it is called.One of the beautiful ladies (employee) just automatically asked me can I help you and she did all the work for me and come to find out it is free for members so I just wanted to say Thank You and GOD BLESS YOU.

    I had only dealt with big banks like BOA and Chase for the most part my life. That was until I was referred to OC's Credit Union by a friend when I bought a new car and needed an auto loan. All those big banks that I had dealt with over 15 years gave me the worst possible rates. When I called the OCCU, my quoted rate was half of the other ones. The folks at the branch collaborate really well with their remote financial office. They explained to each other my status, so I did not have to repeat myself 10 times in the process. Customers generally post review when they had bad experience. I had a pleasant one working with OCCU and I really wanted to share.

    I don't know where all the negative comments are coming from but i've been with this credit union for about three years now and I couldn't see myself going to any other bank. They have always helped me with any problems or situations that have come up. Yes, there are maybe 2 employees that aren't as friendly as the others but I've met employees at other places that had a lot worse attitude. Plus, you never what someone is dealing with that day. I wouldn't be surprised if the negative comments are coming from people who go right as they are closing. Either way, you can't base your whole review of somewhere, solely based on one employee.

    I really, really want to like this bank. The staff is friendly, helpful, and has never given me any problems. I really like the instant transfer between accounts, that they'll work with our business accounts to release check holds when there are vendors we're anxious to pay, the customer service callback feature, so we don't have to wait on hold, and that I've always been helped really fast when I come into the branch. However, the new mobile app is just killing us. It could take 1 to 5 minutes to just log into the mobile app, and I've actually failed to make a mobile deposit after trying for a solid half hour (app crashing but mostly spinning for several minutes whenever you hit any UI button). It's literally faster to drive into the bank. Also, now our Mint feed is broken and it's causing our bookkeeper to do a task that was completely automated, by hand, like it's the 1950s. Please, (we're all begging you!), fix this so that we don't have to switch banks.
