The folks in the office are very friendly and super helpful. The shuttle service is top notch. But the service people lack serious attention to detail! This time, I had two tires replaced. They rotated the front tires to the back and put the new tires on the front. That’s what I wanted, but they never check to ensure the tire pressure in the all of the tires were good. I got in and one front tire had 35 psi, the other had 33 psi. The back two tires each had 30 psi. Attention to details makes a difference! It is always something. Always. One time they changed the oil and neglected to reset the oil life. The next time they replaced cams and lifters and neglected to check the motor mounts, which ended up needing replacing within the month. They never mentioned the motor mounts. Another time is was keeping my car for a dash replacement and getting it back completely filthy inside and out. Always an issue with the simplest of details.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had when buying a truck from a dealership, just because we had a disagreement I was held from my plates and my registration till I went into Mark Lofs office just to get to scolded and talked down to! How belittling can someone be as a person and as someone that is supposed to be about the customer. To make a customer that had the flu drive 45 min from home just to call him in his office and scold him for 30 min over a disagreement! Never will I use this dealership ever again! Also letting readers know I’m complaining for all the right reasons, the dealerships words and how they in their eyes handled the situation are obviously gonna be downplayed to make them seem like I was in the wrong! It’s ok this was the second truck I got from them and both times were horrible experiences... I only bought this one since it was the cheapest AT-4 in austin at the time but never again and I’ll make sure anyone I cross paths with that is looking for gmc goes to gmc off of 183
Unfortunately I am forced to respond in a manner in which I do not like. But I am compelled to tell our readers to truth. In November 2019 Mr. Crain purchased a used vehicle from our dealership. While in the business office completing his paperwork our employee failed to collect Mr. Crain's downpayment and Mr. Crain failed to offer it. When our business manager contacted Mr. Crain regarding this error his response was "that isn't my @$#&*problem". Mr. Crain felt that since someone made an error in failing to ask for his downpayment he was not obligated to fulfill the commitment that he agreed upon. It is a sad world in which we live where people feel that are entitled to take advantage of others mistakes and then go to the internet and complain when they are confronted. In addition Mr. Crain's registration was not withheld, he failed to come and pick them up. We do not mail any license plates since if they are lost or stolen it is time consuming and tedious to replace.

I came in for an oil change and check engine light, along with my 100,000 mile service. I was told I needed a new engine mount and a myriad of other things. I chose to get the engine mount done and hold off on a few of the other things (my SUV was in another GMC shop less than six months prior to that and none of those things came up). The day after I got my vehicle back I notices a part from my back seat vent system was not put back. I made an appointment to have it corrected, and have the other work inspected, they put the part back in at no charge. I am looking at some of these comments and the individual that was my service advisor is named here a couple of times and is no longer working there. I am questioning if I should take my vehicle to somewhere else and have the work looked at. A few of these comments about what was being done vs. what was done can be considered fraud. 3 Stars for now.

I'm lovin' Nyle Maxwell GMC, Round Rock, TX! I take my 3.6 CTS Cadillac there because of the excellent customer service I receive there. My Service Advisor was Ryan Frye, he provided Carte Blanc service! I enjoyed his stellar, superb customer service, he stayed on point! I don't know what they're waiting on, they should've made Ryan, Head Service Advisor, he knew how to hook-a-customer! I miss him. Now, I have a new Service Advisor, Nyle. The local tech who jump started my car this morning told me my battery needed to be replaced. It's crunch time at work, so I called Nyle Maxwell immediately, as I have always had impeccable service there. Although I had no appointment and it was a Monday after a long holiday weekend, Anthony told me to bring it right in. I did, and he was there waiting with all the paperwork drawn up. In less than an hour, my battery was charged, tested, and re-tested, and I was told it did not need replacing, and I was not charged for the time spent checking it. These folks are great, and although my car is of an age that many people choose to shop around and bypass dealer servicing, I will continue to bring my car there - everyone I have dealt with on the team is terrific.
