    By far the best customer service! I walked in wanting to refinance my car. I met with Maria Vanella, she is the BEST Financial Services Representative ever. She help me immediately and got everything done and good to go in less than 30 minutes. After that I met with her again regarding a personal loan and once again she surprised me! She is just the best I definitely recommend this bank and if you need any assistance please meet with Maria. I assure you, she won't disappoint you! :)

    I cant access my account on app and on-line, had to go to the branch and they couldn't help me either. I can only use my ATM card but cant check my balance. horrible if you are traveling. Noe they refuse to help me over the phone. Horrible customer service and horrible management of apps and online accounts. Poor training of employees who cant resolve a problem and just pass you from one rep to the next.

    This is the initial location I signed up at but overall any location I’ve called or dealt with has been horrific. The employee who got my account set up put in literally everything wrong. First was my email address. Which when I asked her four times if I should be getting any confirmation emails now that I’ve made an account, she brushed me off and outright ignored me. When asked to use my security code to log in to the app, she apparently spelled my last name wrong which was the security code. And again brushed it off and said “oh well it should work in about half an hour. Try a few more times and it should work.” I did, and ended up locked out of the account that wasn’t even up for an hour. Two weeks later, when my card had not arrived, found out she put my address in incorrectly so my card was sent to another house across town. The customer service rep this time had the nerve to ask “do you want to deactivate the card orrrrrr you think they’ll send you your card back?” Like they think some random stranger will know my correct address and send it back??? On top of that they could not express my card so I could actually use it, because “they can’t rush a new card over the phone.” It’s been a month now, nothing in my account has been correct since opening it and I still don’t have my card. Which as soon as I get it I will be closing my account. To put icing on the cake, I was sent two survey emails to review my experiences with this company, and the link does not work, just reloads the page asking me to fill out the survey.

    This morning I stopped by to get a cash advance, The teller who helped me out was a young lady by the name of Paola, very professional and attentive. She answered all my questions and was very knowledgable even went out of her way to double check with her manager. I did notice how everyone works as a great team, her manager came out of her chair to help out and follow up with her questions, treating your co-workers as customers always deserves recognition. Im happy to find great people at this location and looking forward in continuing doing business with North Island.

    I had a really bad experience with a teller named Claudia. I have been to various branches and this one was WORST experience ever. I was there for 2 different types of transactions. One of the transactions was to cash or deposit a petty cash check, she would not take it. Not only was she rude about it but gave me it back to me very rude. I told her I would take it to another branch because I have no issues cashing it at another branch. Finally the manager overheard me and came and he asked her to cash it for me. When it was time to give me the money I asked she can just take me to the machine to have it count. When I was in a different area than her she yelled 2 times “I said it was towards the left”. Not only did I feel embarrassed, she also raised her voice at me. I have numerous accounts at the branch and have a wonderful experience at other branches. NEVER EVER have I had an issue until yesterday! It made my banking experience very upsetting. I won’t ever go back to this branch again. Thanks Claudia for making my banking experience very unpleasant.
