The guy is a joke he didn't know where my binoculars where from he offered 10 dlrs for 200 dlr binoculars so no deal then I told him I just want a loan said no ille buy for dalor seems he didn't know much about quality items and his place did look kind of broke but here in San Diego there's hundreds of pawn shops. Now your lying at big 5 they are over 100 vortex binoculars their not cheap and you offered 10 dlrs. And refused a loan when I said I just wanted to pawn you said ille buy for ten don't lye all those reviews there probably made up or you where not like that with me be man best thing is to stay quite if you have to lie

Ron Krasner, the owner of The Pawn Shop, is an exceptionally fair and ethical person. I bought a vintage guitar amplifier, which required a substantial amount of repair, after being seriously damaged due to excessively rough handling in the mere four hour shipping commute from Chula Vista to Santa Barbara! Ron had the decency and integrity to compensate me for expenses related to repairs, after filing a claim with the carrier, which was denied. (Surprise!). This is the kind of person I would feel good about doing business with in the future. The manner in which Ron dealt with our issue has built a strong sense of trust and respect for his high standard of assuring customer satisfaction. We need more business owners like Ron Krasner!

Walked into the store on Wednesday looking for a pearl necklace. Was greeted by a friendly staff member, who did not pressure me with questions.....great start!! Found a case with several necklaces. Met Hector and he assisted me from that point. We talked about my needs and he answered all my questions. Showed me several necklaces and and I made selection - beautiful single strand vintage type piece with a unique Pearl and Garnet clasp. Bottom line....great store, great staff and a great place to shop! Thanks Hector, I will be back. P.S. She LOVES IT!!!!!!

Great experience. I don’t usually go to pawnshops but they were very nice and helpful but not pushy. They have great collections of unique items and I recommend checking this place out.
