I absolutely agree with the previous people. Avoid getting services at this location specially with Donneil Harris. To get an appointment takes time. By the time you have the Interview Donneil Harris have not review your documents. Once you have the interview she tells you that you will receive more information and links to proceed.. as o fui day we didn’t received it. We tried contacting her and she never picks up her phone. Supposedly she work from home. There is more… if you are really looking for help invest your time in another place.

Avoid this location. I chose this agency for ehomeAmerica certification, since it is close to where I live. I completed the home buyer online course and they emailed me certification. I requested counseling as well, but there was no availability until next month. Thus, I decided not to have counseling at that time. It was on January 2020. On this Tuesday, 6days before closing day, Citi bank informed me to get Fannie Mae form to get signed by HUD approved counselor. So yesterday, I called NHS queens and explained to secretary from this office that I needed to have counseling asap. I attempted to reach out a counselor several times via email and phone, but unsuccessful. If I received a feedback from them like “sorry We are not able to help you right now.” Then I would not write this, but it never happened to me. And, secretary told me she is working from home now. Fortunately, I asked eHomeAmerica and they transferred me to another agency that I chose. And new agency provided me a telephonic counseling in this morning. I am writing this for all potential home buyers who may get informed to get extra forms at the last minute. This agency may be ok for those who have plenty of time to prepare, but definitely not for people in hurry!! Do not expect prompt response from this agency!!

Derryl Washington and his staff were very professional, and they helped me to purchase my home. I owe them so much, and I will always be grateful. NHS has helped many families like mine to achieve their American dream.

Absolutely do not recommend. You will be overlooked when you need their assistance. Your e-mails don't get responses. Your questions don't get answered and your concerns are brushed off. It's a complete waste of time. Go with another agency.

I feel very grateful for the organization and the variety of programs they have to support our community. I recently took a computer class and it was excellent. If you want to learn about the use of the computer, I recommend this class totally free. Many thanks to David, Rosa, and Joel for all the support received. NHSQ has many programs that we can take advantage of.

Find the help that perhaps you were waiting for or thought you couldn't find as a tenant and as a homeowner programs on how to find a job and how to get around in the world of finances everything you need to know about credit cards, very valuable information that you can take advantage of at no cost. 100% recommended.

It does not work. They play with people. At least they played with me, with my trust, and the only thing I got was a debt of thousands and thousands of $$ with the DOB that I do not know how I will pay it waiting for the NHSQ offer of a grant that never came. I did my job and I did it very well. They asked me all kinds of docs. and I gave them all and the person in charge confirmed their receipt. But then this same person in charge of my case wanted the docs together, I fulfilled his wish and sent them to him at his pleasure .. However, he did not know x being that she confirmed his receipt .... yeah! and asked again. It's not easy to get all those docs. at my age (senior), without proper transportation and a documented illness at the LIJH hospital. My health deteriorated, I couldn't handle so much stress while the DOB penalties went on and on. Of course I had no other option: I could not play the game with NHSQ: and after 10 months of putting my trust in them, I gave up on so much cruelty and left the program. My investment of trust, $$ (faxes, transportation, copies), work, faith, credibility, was lost ... but my health comes first. Yeap: a total disgusting .but the way: Woodside location
