Yesterday, after 6 months of waiting, shopping, and phone calls, I finally found myself going out to Downtown Subaru to purchase my new 2020 Crosstrek. I was very impressed with their service, and for the amount of time Tim Mak spent with me prearranging the financing and paperwork over the phone for weeks now and for then also taking the amount of time he did to show me about all of the features and linking my phone. I couldnt be more in love with my Crosstrek and the service that I received. Would definitely recommend Tim Mak and Allen Collier to anyone!
Abbey, Thanks so much for the great review. We really appreciate your and your business!!!!

After seeing the reviews of this place, I was a bit hesitant to take my Legacy Gertrude in for an oil change after a cross country trek from SLC to Nashville. I called and was transferred to some corporate scheduling line with a less-than-enthusiastic (at best) girl who told me their closest appointment was 2 weeks out. I called and chatted with the service director who assured me that this relatively new dealership is striving for Subaru standards. Striving is a generous way to put it... None the less, I was assured that with an appointment, my oil change, multi point inspection, rotation, and a wash and vacuum would all be done within an hour. I arrived on time and because there were only two service techs assisting, I waited for a few minutes before even being acknowledged. Austin acknowledged me and his homie next to him made no attempt to assist him at all, despite having multiple customers in the service bay. As Austin was furiously trying to get me checked in and be thorough Queen Bee from some back office showed up at his desk and hovered, clearly interrupting him. He acknowledged her and kindly asked how he could help her, even in the midst of trying to help me, and she rudely told him to finish helping me. For all things holy people- at least put off the impression that you are a team! After about 30 minutes Austin came back to let me know that the oil change was done and that they were ready to start the wash and it should be done shortly. I had my two little girls with me, so this was a pleasant surprise they were moving so quickly... until they didn't. Austin came back and said that the warranty I'd purchased when I bought my car, this specific dealership didn't honor therefore they would be unable to buff the scratches out that I'd accumulated on my 2000 mile trek- which is exactly the opposite of what I was told when I purchased the warranty in January, knowing I'd be relocating in the next couple years. After telling me they didn't cover it, he promised me they'd be done soon. NINETY MINUTES LATER I was finally on my way out the door- all for a car wash??? Apparently here they don't have a drive thru wash and they must wash the car down by hand, so maybe this was an ultra spiffy wash? WRONG. I came out to my car, barely even washed on the outside- the side mirrors still dirty with water spots and my views on the mirrors all screwed up. The insides of the windows were not cleaned at all, and NOTHING was vacuumed, despite me asking for this with the service director and him verifying it would be complete. Austin *generously* took 10% off the bill-which equated to $10- for the added time(DOUBLE the time I was quoted, and having two kids in tow), and did nothing about the dirty car I was left with. I could have vacuumed and washed the thing 5 times over in the 90 minutes they took past the oil change. Austin took my card, and then came back and asked what he could do to make it better before he ran the charges... Are you serious??? That is YOUR job, not mine. If 90 additional minutes of your time was wasted and you'd had two kids in tow, would $10 be a slap in the face or a generous token to repair your oversight? That's not even enough to cover a fraction of the labor costs charged, or the environmental fee. Overall, I'd say read the reviews on these guys. If you're from out of state and used to the HIGH quality service and professionalism that Subaru normally displays, take note that this dealership is paired with Hyundai. You will NOT be receiving the same kind of attention, care, or concern for yourself, your family, or your vehicle that you'd expect with the Subaru name.

We had a great experience at Subaru downtown. A few months back we thought we wanted a Subaru, then decided to go w a used truck instead. Tim was so great to work with, so we checked in w him again to see what used trucks he had. After a great test drive, we found "the one"! He made the whole process simple, fair, and effective! Thanks!
We always love to receive great feedback. Thank you Mallory!

When I say the service at Nashville Subaru is absolutely terrible, I mean it. I finally received my vehicle back from repairs today (10/10/19) after initially contacting the dealership in December 2018 to schedule recall repairs. My service appointments were made and cancelled by the dealership at least 5 times (I have honestly lost count and it's likely more), each time it was delayed and I was told it had been rescheduled, but at least three times, when I called to confirm the reschedule, they told me I didn't have an appointment scheduled. On one occasion (early July 2019) I drove into the dealership for my scheduled repair, and upon my arrival they said they couldn't take my car because of some shortage of rental vehicles, they promised would contact me in a week or two when they were ready for it, and assured me that it was completely reasonable and necessary for me to have made that useless trip in on a work day because they needed to "process" my vehicle (which consisted of taking two photos of it). About 2.5 months later, after hearing nothing, I contacted them and told me I wasn't scheduled at all. The service department was rarely reachable by phone and never returned messages. The lack of communication and appallingly bad scheduling process were unlike anything I've experience before. In person the staff were civil, but unimpressive and minimally helpful. I will avoid at all costs in the future.
Caitlin, Very sorry for all the confusion. Sounds like we dropped the ball on all levels of your servicing with us. I am glad you finally got your vehicle fixed and taken care. Thanks for the review. This is how we fix things within the dealership. Have a wonderful day!!!!!

I went in, frustrated with having to deal with car troubles. Ashley was amazing! She greeted me with a smile and explained the process, checking in with me at work to let me know if updates or if anything changed! I suggest looking for her when you take your car in for service!!
Sarah, Thank you for such a great review. We really appreciate you and your business!!!!!

Slow. Tried to call due to letter received from Subaru finance. Impossible to get anyone on the phone and after six tries I finally got someone on the phone who took my phone number and I had to wait until the next day to get a phone call that told me to ignore the letter from Subaru finance said it was junk mail. Then another issue with my trade-in vehicle where the dealership did not credit me my gap on my trade-in and trying to get someone on the phone for that was ridiculous, was actually transferred to the service manager. I told him that this was the worst experience I have ever had buying a vehicle and will never deal with Nashville Subaru again . I would rather drive out of state then have to go through all this nonsense to get someone on the phone and do you know that even after telling him that it is been a week and I have still not heard from anyone at that dealership. Never again!!! Worst service ever!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us, Dolina. I am the General Manager here at would like to know more details of your recent experience. I can be reached at 615-329-2929 to discuss more. Thank you, Tim.

Ashley in service went above and beyond getting my car fixed. Had bought it used at another dealership and found out it was a dud and needed an entirely new motor. Ashley kept me up to date on what was going on with the car and had me back on the road with a new motor and a good dependable car!
Austin, Thanks so much for your great review. We really appreciate you and your business!!!!!

Very happy with how my car was handled. Tyler in the service department was a pleasure to work with. Went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of.
David, Thank you so much for the great review. We really appreciate you and your business!!!!!
