    My first visit I rated the dealership 5 stars. Had an stellar experience. My second time was the polar opposite. A one star rating is still way too high for the experience I encountered. Communication is the biggest issue management needs to address and focus. Next would be the customer experience; from training staff to listen to customers and show just the tiniest bit of empathy would go a long way. My third experience just 3 weeks later was an improvement, only because of the my obvious level of dissatisfaction. Though a slightly improved experience, they still did not do enough to earn my trust back.

    Great customer service! My daughter purchased a used car here and even though it was purchased as is no warranty, the service engine light came on three days after she purchased it. It was a bad catalytic converter and they replaced it NO CHARGE! Our next car purchase will be from Downtown Hyundai! I highly recommend them!

    I dropped off my car for a USB update (T3Q) to my Bluelink which has never worked since i got the car. Hyundai picked the dealership, on the phone the person helping said there was also a door latch recall and theyd add that to the list. Then i mentioned my tire had been low and they said ill put a note in which they did. When i dropped the car off i again mentioned the tire and i was approaching 5K miles and would like a full service done (tire rotation, oil change, top off fluids. Its a brand new car). I dropped it off on Fri and was told to pick up monday. When i picked it up only the door latch was replaced and an oil change was done. No tire refill (they didnt even check my pressure), no tire rotation, no fluid top offs. The Bluelink couldnt be updated because they didnt have the software (why was i recommended to THIS location then). Also no one in service said “well contact u when the USB arrives and reschedule” neber going back. Sales missed an opportunity to have a repeat customer and service is incompetent to not get more $$ out of me by actively rescheduling customers. Ill just find another Hyundai dealership and they can get my $$ and repeat business.

We contact you after the part comes in to schedule the appointment because sometimes it takes longer to get parts. We do top off all fluids and check over your vehicle. We DO NOT want to overcharge someone when services don't need to be done on your vehicle. That is not good business.     Brought my 2017 Hyundai Elantra in because it was lagging and stalling out on acceleration. They had it for 4 days and I called every day trying to get ahold of my technician but they were never available and would never call me back. I finally got ahold of someone who checked into it just to tell me that there was nothing wrong and they checked everything. I went to pick it up and their service report noted that the entire car was perfect. I decided to check it out on my own and found one of the air intake hoses was literally detached and my engine air filter was completely trashed. It was obvious that they didn’t even bother to check my engine at all. I reattached the hose and replaced the filter and it has run fine ever since. What were they doing with my car for 4 days?!

    Helpful staff from salesperson to finance representative. They listened and accommodated me as per my needs and requests. Truly happy with my purchase, and satisfied with my financial obligation.     My experience at this dealership was nothing less than AMAZING!! Sam, a salesman, literally went over and above to make sure I got the deal and vehicle that was right for me. He listened to my needs and desires, was very direct, open, honest and realistic. I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. The experience was haggle- and hassle-free. I would HIGHLY recommend Sam and this dealership!

    Hyundai has always been good to me, but $150 + $82 labor to change ONE ignition coil?! I wish they would have told me it would have been much, much cheaper to buy four coils at AutoZone. They definitely, however, got me out quickly for which I am very grateful.

    I had very negative experience at Downtown Hyundai yesterday and it was not the first time. After checking in my car for service, I was directed to the location to wait for the shuttle that would take me to work. There was one woman already waiting there. Not long afterward a second woman arrived. When the first woman had waited an hour, she went back inside to be told the driver would be there in "a few minutes". About 10 minutes later when I had been waiting an hour, I went back and was also told it would be "in a few minutes." I told the agent his answer was unacceptable, but clearly did not care. Further, I told him, I would wait "a few minutes" but after that I wanted my car and I would leave. He then told me the keys were in my car and I should take it. Of course, I had not choice, but to leave. People should be very careful about their decision to work with this dealership. I had been a Honda owner for 25 years when I switched to Hyundai last year. Boy, am I sorry I did.

    I would rather give this place 0 stars. The customer service was absolutely TERRIBLE. I made an appointment, which the staff were late to even do my vehicle intake. I immediately realized that the staff was inefficient and disorganized. My appointment was at 2pm. I was immediately told by my service advisor that they would not be able to see my vehicle that day. Why would I make an appointment if they’re not sticking to a schedule? The following morning I received an email with a very expensive estimate from my service advisor. I received no further information from my service advisor throughout the day. There was no explanation for what the repairs meant and which were critical. No one even asked me if I wanted to get the repairs done. I called several times trying to get an explanation and I was on hold for so long and then bounced from receptionists to various voicemails. On my third call I actually spoke to one member of the service team and she told me she would pass my message along to my service advisor who was currently with a customer. Finally (after several calls), I get through to another service advisor who was able to actually explain to me what the repairs listed in my service estimate actually meant. At this point I was so frustrated with the ATROCIOUS customer service that I wanted to get my vehicle back and take it to another service center. I explained my frustrations and this service advisor told me they would prepare my vehicle for pickup. I show up at the service center and there are NO OTHER CUSTOMERS there. So why did my service advisor never contact me to explain my service estimate? Why was I on hold for so long? Why did I have to call so many times to get an explanation? I stand in the service center for about 5 min before anyone even acknowledges me and I’m the only customer there. Another service advisor helps me and directs me to my service advisor. I explain my frustrations to my service advisor who told me that he received no voicemails and no message from the other member of the service team I spoke with. But it should never have gotten to the point where I was calling to get an explanation. When my estimate was sent to me it should have been explained. I’ve never had a service center give me an estimate with no explanation or even ask me if I wanted the repairs done. The worst part was when I asked for a customer satisfaction survey I was told that someone named Greg “might call or email me”. So customers can’t even report poor experiences to management? At this point, I’ve wasted my time and my car was not repaired. I hope by sharing my experience it can save someone else the hassle of dealing with this service center. It’s not worth it.
