I feel very comfortable when dealing with Minnequa Works Credit Union, & they were very kind to offer me a loan, making it possible to buy my 1st car, on my own. Thanks Minnequa Works CU!

This used to be a great Credit Union, with great customer service, in which I have used for over 13 years. Recently I have experienced a decline in their customer service. In my most recent experience, I had applied for a personal loan and was told I would be contacted the same day after reviewing my information. No one had contacted me so I called the credit union and was directed to leave a message because the loan specialist was unavailable or with another customer. No response that day and it seemed like a burden for them to receive my call. Second day I had not received a call back so I waited until later in the day hoping after receiving my message they would return my call. No call back so I called again. Once again I was directed to leave a message. Long story short they have made me feel like my financial interests are of little importance and it seems like they could care less whether they get my business or not. Maybe they are tending to the customers depositing thousands of dollars and my small loan was not a priority. Either way this is how they made me feel. After no communication I gave SunWest Credit Union a call and they were able to finance me the same day with excellent customer service. After this recent experience I will be closing my account with Minnequa Works Credit Union and SunWest Credit Union has gained my business. Being My First Credit Union and using them over 10 years, it has been very disappointing to see their customer service decline. I used to think so highly of Minnequa Works.

I love this Credit Union! I wish I could say I have banked with this Credit Union for years but I am only about a year in. In that time I have been beyond happy with the customer service, friendly and helpful staff, and the unbeatable rates. I have a loan and a car loan through this Credit Union now and I did a lot of research and looked into MANY other institutions before reaching out to this one. They have been able to offer me and my family with significantly better interest rates and terms. They are amazing! I am so grateful I found this company and plan to use them for many years to come!

Services are slipping. No notary on hand at 3 branches on Friday morning. Call back Monday and possibly we'll have a notary but then again....we might not!

There’s another CU that offers better rates and terms even faster . It’s three letters that start with a E and end in a T

Used to be a great credit union but now they charge fees to move money in between accounts ..moving to a big bank so I can get better interest on my savings ,since I have to pay fees..been a member for 30 years but no point any more.
