    Concerns about skilled labor and service! About 4 weeks ago my wife drove our 2010 HHR only one block from home to the office. Thirty minutes later I got in the car and it would not start. Tried it several times and it would start then die. Dealer told me I had to pay for a tow truck to get it over to them, 12 miles. I got the dealer recommended tow truck and had it taken to the dealer. The dealer checked it out and said they could not find anything wrong with the car. We picked it up a couple of days later and drove it home. The exact same thing happened the next day. This time the dealer paid the tow bill. After over a week of keeping the car and according to our service rep, Chris, checking everything on the car a second time they still found nothing. I picked the car up again and brought it back home. We stopped to shop on the way home and found they had apparently checked the battery and left the covers off the battery and wedged up against the back door. Had lots of trouble just getting the back door open. The car only has 39,000 miles on it and this dealer has serviced it with no problems. Chris the service rep has always given us good service also but was very disappointed with the way things worked out this time. Since they could not find a problem with the car, we are afraid to drive it any distance away from home.

    I bought a used truck a few weeks ago and I have been having problems with my truck since the day I purchased it. Im very upset with how I have been treated when I have come back to get the problem fixed TWICE!!!! I have been dismissed twice and lied to. Im disappointed that I was promised it would be tip-top shape when it left the lot and it has been everything but. After taking back the second time and being dismissed and made to think I was "crazy" for thinking there was something wrong with my truck I too it to my family mechanic. When I took it to my mechanic, he found that the piping was considerably loose on the turbo. If the mechanics at Al Serra really looked at my truck the way they said they would this should have been noticed! This was/is my life on the line and I feel like my safety was in jeopardy because of the lack of care. With that knowledge, it makes me feel even more disappointed in the service I have received. I expected to be taken care of when it was promised so strongly to me. I'm extremely disappointed in the customer care and sales. Buyers beware!

    Jenna, your vehicle was repaired at no charge to you. The noise was coming from the transfer case which is what was replaced. The turbo hose your family mechanic looked at didn't have anything to do with the grinding noise coming from the transfer case.

    Bought a 2019 Equinox. They tried to add a pricey service contract into financing even tho it wasn’t on contract. Then acted shocked when I pointed it out. Also gave high interest rate for person with high Fico score. Overall horrible experience. I contacted Chevy. But Marooney never addressed it. I would never recommend them. I would stay away.
