I opened a personal checking account here. Whenever I opened it they highly recommended doing their mobile deposits of checks but what they don’t tell you is your first five deposits get a week hold on the checks. And once you deposit the check there’s nothing they will do to help you!. They really should educate people about their policies whenever they open an account they shouldn’t push their mobile banking and mobile deposits on you without telling you the pros and the cons of it highly disappointed in this branch.

All banks are pretty much alike, and offer pretty much the same services. So what I look for is something different. I look for a place where the people are friendly and treat you like a human being and not just an account number. I look for a place where they're not too busy to give you a smile and say hello. I like a place where they recognize you and appreciate your business. If this is what you're looking for two, this is a pretty good bank.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I started banking through them for one of my first jobs as a direct deposit for my check. Everything was fine for the first couple of months until I started using the checks they gave me. I used them for my car insurance and they kept charging me a $35 fee saying that I didnt have an account connected with those checks. If I didnt have an account how did I get the checks? Then I tried to take out money for a vacation I was going on and the teller told me she didnt feel comfortable giving me my money in cash that I could go to the ATM to get my money. I needed $1200 that day and my limit was only $500. THEN when me and my husband went to close our accounts and move to another bank they took our cards and cut them and told us to have a great day but not even 2 weeks later they sent me my statement in the mail (charging me $2/ statement) saying that I had fees to pay for there not being any money in my account. They never closed them just gave us our money and cut our cards but refused to close them over the phone because I didnt have our card numbers! I would never recommend this bank to anyone! We use USAA now and have had 0 problems.

very disappointed with this bank, first we have problems with the app all the time, it lags and logs me out all the time, it tells me my login is wrong even tho i know it isn’t, there isn’t an option to change ur info through the app either. secondly is the atm, we have deposited money a few times and every time it takes days to finally post to our account, we’ve been to other banks like chase and BOA and it usually only take 10 minutes or it’s immediate. we put money in saturday afternoon and it’s monday night and we still don’t have it. which is frustrating during this crisis and very inconvenient as a customer. lastly we tried to go to the bank to get the money out since we needed it already, the lady at the desk said we just needed to wait for it to post, last time it took 3 days so we decided we just wanted it out and to close the account after so many issues with this bank, then she said we couldn’t so, which is strange because it was deposited at their atm at the same bank 3 days before. we asked for the manager and it seems like there was a misunderstanding already because she came out real snarky and with an attitude which was even more upsetting, we traded words and we lost our patience, never had any other banks not credit the account in any sort of way after depositing large sums of cash, very disappointed with service and the bank especially in such stressful times. if you want to have a bank to rely on i wouldn’t choose midfirst.
Our goal is a fantastic customer experience, and we’re sorry you didn’t have one. Please give us a call at 888.643.3477 so we can make that right.

Selling the opening night tickets, yet seemed disinterested in any customer that doesn't have a MidFirst account (I actually do, but didn't feel like sharing that fact). The manager coldly pointed me towards their ATM (and the fee) and then said, again coldly, there's my bank across the street. In a Yelp/Google world, how does such poor customer service continue to exist?

I have had two bad experiences there. First time was poor communication. I called in about a cashiers check they told me the price it was high but I was in a hurry and had to have one. I drove up there then to be told they don't do cashiers checks unless you have an account. Poor communication aided in delaying me in what I needed. The next time was today 1-31 I went in to cash a check from a customer of mine at this location. Cashing checks is a pretty easy process. I verified my identity and did the thumb print. Jordan then went back to I thought get the cash together. Well I kept seeing her walk back and forth again I thought maybe she was getting the managers signiture that's normal. But after over twenty mins standing at the front, she never came once to explain things. Mind you there was none in the bank at the time or even at the drive-through. She finally comes back to tell me she can't cash the check. She didn't feel comfortable with cashing a large amount. Well it wasn't a large amount. I just the day before went to the 15th and Santa in Ed with the same amount check with zero issues and the teller was awesome and very polite was out if there in 10% of the time. There was no reason they couldn't cash the check. The lady had my signiture on the back and it was clearly different from my customers and the hand writing. I tried calling that branch to talk to a manager. And couldn't get through. Even though they were not busy for being 10:30 in the morning. I don't bank at midfirst. And with my lousy experiences I doubt I would not. I dislike that branch got bad service every time there. And I've only been in there twice. Don't recommend that branch at all.
