Meridia Credit Union hangs on to my money (cash, not checks.) for 2-3 days on end. I had a $100 transaction (deposit for college.) go through, with $116 in my account. I was charged an overdraft fee for it, and not even notified. I deposited funds today, after hours, and discovered the overdraft. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Now I get to enjoy talking with them about this tomorrow, another bogus overdraft. I'm not a fan of banks, but I'm not staying with Meridia. Bank with Meridia if you want, just be extra careful. They love hitting people with overdraft fees, just or unjust, regardless.
