    The worst banking institution experience since in my life! The list of negative customer service encounters over the last 6 months is too long to write in a review. However, if you have an issue with a credit card, expect to spend an hour being bounced back and forth from Member Services to Card Services, it's like a tag-team experience of the incompetent. They at least have one thing down in the script, if you're on for more than 5 minutes, expect to hear the words, "I APOLOGIZE" every 60 seconds, but no movement to the resolution of the issue. Not sure what level of management you have to get to before you find a competent individual that has both the knowledge, authority and understanding to resolve issues immediately. Here's just one example, I asked for a new debit card to be sent to me, after weeks of waiting none had arrived; after being bounced around for over an hour, I was told the request never got made for the card. So, I'm told the card would go out immediately. Again, weeks...no card. Call back to inquire where my card, was told that they had not received a response from the branch manager regarding the earlier card. Further, in the conversation it was revealed that the corporate offices are in the same building that the branch is located, but it's impossible for someone to walk downstairs and ask, "HEY, WHY HAVEN'T YOU RESPONDED TO MY EMAIL." It gets better, I finally receive the card...and it doesn't work. After another 2 hours bounced around between Member Services and Card Services (both departments insinuating the problem must be user error) finally arrive at one helpful customer service person that discovers that the bank has input the wrong expiration date on the card in the computer and thus it keep being rejected. This one issue took weeks to solve and probably burned up 10 hours of my time on the phone. Remember, if a customer were to be cursed with the same level of incompetence and screw up...you're getting charged almost $50.00 bucks. That's just one example in a long list of issues!

    My parents have used MCCU for the last 25-odd years, and the only thing they've complained about is the lack of ATM locations since they moved to Richmond. I'm strongly considering going with them as my bank of choice now that I'm in the market for land/housing, even though I live in Pearland. - Though this is mainly off of my parents' recommendation. I did use them to get a checking account for three years when I was in high school. No notable events.

    I was trying to withdraw money from my account, I currently have a temporary driver license and they said no because I need the actual driver license not the temporary paper that the dps gives us. Is really upsetting that I can’t take money from my OWN account with a temporary id, but I can sign up with them with a TEMPORARY ID. I will be closing my account once i receive my ID. I had my debit card and temporary ID I don’t understand why they didn’t let me withdraw money, worst experience specially since I need the money urgently

    I have been a member of this Credit Union(formerly Conoco Credit Union) for over 50 years and while it is a strong Credit Union, this branch is under staffed. The staff is nice, attentive and tries hard but the wait there is always longer than the Katy Road location.

    Customer service is not good at this location. They don't even greet you when you drive up like all the other branches. When the lady finally spoke she didn't even say "Welcome to MCCU" she spoke to me like I was someone on the street..

    Having been a member at this branch for 9 months now, I am so impressed with the consideration and friendliness of the staff. When I opened my account with Abe, he gave me the tools I needed and was very knowledgeable about what the bank had to offer. Debbie, Karina, Alana, and Phatifah know me by name, and welcome me each time I go. I am a little old-fashioned and visit a couple of times a month to deposit checks and withdraw money. With a smile and friendly tone, each service representative greets me immediately. I rarely have had to wait more than 5 minutes. The once or twice I have had to wait, someone addressed me immediately and directed me to an area where I could wait. I opened a credit card with them, and they were so helpful and friendly, making sure to see it through the end. Phatifah even helped me transfer money from one account to another when the credit card was new. Finally, I recently inquired about a loan, and the staff gave me a name directly with whom I could work out the details. I am so thankful for all of their assistance. I would highly recommend everyone get an account with this branch at Members Choice.

    I love being a member of Members Choice and I especially love this branch! I've been a member of MCCU over 14 years I started at the Park 10 Location, and I later moved to the Eldridge location. I must say after visiting other locations, I have never had a problem at any Branch. The staff at the Eldridge location are always friendly and professional. They're always willing to answer my questions and help resolve any issues I may have. I rarely ever use the drive thru because I like going in to say Hello to the staff because it's like visiting friends when I come inside. Keep up the good work guys!

    I been a member of this credit union for about 4 months and everything is a simple process. I contact them for my needs and each time the situation has been handled professionally and quickly.     Went to get some checks, upon arriving they told me their check machine was down. No big deal, I'll come back. Three days later I called customer service to check and see if the machine had been repaired to which they said it had been and I could get my checks. When I get to the bank I have to wait over 30 minutes to see a teller because there's only two people working on a Friday. When I get to the teller and request the checks she tells me the machine is down. I tell her I just called and they told me it was working. She tells me oh I thought you meant the ATM. Complete incompetence.

    I don’t typically leave reviews however this one deserves it. I can understand when someone needs to take pre-caution dealing with new customers and accounts however this branch didn’t make us feel like they wanted our business. We went in to a different branch that was GREAT! Very informative and helpful. We decided to get a pre-approval done which required a credit check. That process was great and we felt confident with our loan officer and staff. ( clay & why 6) This location specifically (Eldridge &briar Forest) told us how and why they couldn’t help us after verifying that they were actually incorrect they then apologized and offered to open our account. We gladly declined and decided to drive 30 min out of the way purely on the firm belief that customer service is everything.
