MECU S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City

This bank and every branch here is a DISASTER. They are all incredibly incompetent. You look at their hours that they post here on google, it all says that they’re closed. So when I tried to make a deposit to offset a negative balance it was impossibly to deposit on a Saturday. However, these employees will argue for their lives trying to call their customers liars because they choose to close the blinds and pretend they’re closed and give the impression that they are closed. The girl we spoke to, Mia gave attitude to us and could not handle it when I gave it right back. It is not out fault that your bank doesn’t know how to actually be a competent and successful bank. If you are open, then why did no one answer the drive through phone? Why does your hours say you’re closed? Ridiculous. Bank elsewhere. Take care of your finances and check elsewhere. Just look at most of their reviews. Mostly one star reviews for a reason. Pure incompetence.

I love mecu and have been a member for 10 years, but this location at 89th and Walker is terrible. I live in Moore, so it's very convenient, but I feel like a burden everytime I go. I've tried the drive thru and the lobby. No one smiles or says hello. I'm usually met with, "I'll be with you in a minute", even when I'm the only one there. I get better service in a fraction of the time at the Service Center, and I think that's sad.

Filled out an online auto loan application. A couple of days later received a phone call from the manager who was very rude and recommended that I come in since I had not filled out my application correctly. I had already secured a great rate with another CU that used the same online application software in almost the same format, not sure where I went wrong with this one.

Iv, been with them for around 2 years or so maybe a little longer, never ever missed a single car payment and keep everything current. When talking to them about options for needing help with a small financial situation I was told my relationship with the bank didnt matter and that my numbers where not good enough and made to feel small because i didnt have thousands of dollars in my account. I will be changing banks as soon as i can. MECU is a bank for its self not its members.

I’ve been with MECU 27 years. Had some delays with service when they are busy. Their website needs improved The employees are very nice at the downtown and south locations. Their rates on savings and CD are low. and loan rates a bit high. It’s a credit union not a place to park your money.

When i called about being charged an overdraft fee for a transaction i had enough money in my account i talked to 3 different people over the day about it. My account had overdraft protection on it until they updated their systems. Each person told me a different story that did not make sense and did not explain how i could have an overdraft fee when my account was still positive. So they are either liars or the online ledger lies. Either way no one should ever do business with them.

Unprofessional. Rude. No help. Nothing done. Theft of certified documents, if they can't help then why can't our documents be returned.

Not sure what is going on... internet indicates that the majority of locations are open from 9 to 12 on Saturday ... I called three different numbers several times and NOONE answered the phone... in addition I would suggest that you set you answering machine to answer within 10 rings describing the status of your organization for that day... call me and I will explain further... NOT TOO IMPRESSED

Hours of operation are horrible. I work so I can not be there between 8:30 and 5. I have to pay a $12.50 fee each time I make my car payment. I'll never again finance though this bank if you can avoid it.
