    I have been financing through this company for almost 2 years now. I have had payments set up on autopay so I’ve never really had to contact them for anything, leaving me with No complaints. I had to contact them one time to ask if they can postpone my pmt to pull out on a Friday instead of Wednesday just once. They said to call once pmt pulls and they would reverse and stop pmt and set up for Friday - said it had to pull first those . I contacted them on Monday to set up and when pmt pulled wednesday I called them again to have reversed and returned before over draft fees hit at 5 like we spoke abt Monday. They informed me they could only reverse pmt after it clears the bank and send me a check for the pmt amount in the mail… this was not the issue I did not need this money back I needed pmt pulled when I got my check on Friday. I told them I did not have full pmt in my acct now I am having to pay 2 over draft fees totaling $70 just Because I was 30$ short on my pmt and asked them in advance trying to avoid bank fees. The manager Nicole was not pleasant with me and made it very clear it was my fault. She said she had no idea of the issue and as the manager doesn’t have time to assist every call and situation. I have referred many friends here and I feel she was very rude and unprofessional. I work in finance as well and this issue was not my fault but she never tried to fix on her side just said she couldn’t do anything and didn’t mind if I had my acct bought out by someone else due to the issue. She made it apparent no matter how well you pay or how good of a customer you are, they do not value your business and could care less if you finance here or not. I will be moving acct over to my bank and advising my friends who are there now to do the same.

    Friendly. Great group of ladies Geraldine Hall This is 05:19:21 Mariner finance is THE place to go do financial help. I turned down 2 places that had cheaper. Interest rates because MARINER is the best!! APRIL is wonderful!! She treats you like she’s know you forever, and still professional!! 5/19/22 I ll be owing Mariner for the rest of my life, but they always help me out. Leah, Jordan And Nicole are the best.

    I had went into the N Plesantburg branch in Greenville, SC, and was greeted in the rudest way possible. I did not have a mask on, which I wasn’t thinking about much because I was trying to finish my errands. While walking into the branch, I was told in a very rude manner, “you need to wear a mask”. I then walked back to my car and put a mask on. I then wasn’t greeted as the two associates were talking about another client that was holding on the phone. I patiently waited to be taken care of, since I was just dropping off a pay off check for my grandmothers account, the entire time observing the two female associates. The associate that told me that I needed a mask, then pulled her mask down from her face and was talking to the customer. The whole time I had my mask on the way it is supposed to be worn, nose and mouth covered. It was very hypocritical for this associate to force me to wear a mask while she wasn’t wearing hers properly. After giving her the payoff check, while I was sitting in front of her, she pulled her mask down below her nose again and was entering the info into the computer. After finishing my transaction I walked to leave and turned around and expressed to her how unkind and unprofessional it was for her to tell me to wear a mask while she didn’t have hers on properly. The issue isn’t that I had to wear a mask, the issue is the rudeness from this associate. You would think that since I had a very large check paying off a large balance that I would have been treated with a little more respect. In a land where animosity and hatred are the norm now, kindness can and will go a long way. I would not recommend anyone to go to this company or give them a cent of your money. The associate deserves to be terminated for her lack of customer service and hospitality. 0/10.

    What a garbage company. Wish I could leave zero stars. Found this company through credit karma which said me and my wife have really good approval odds. My wife applied and after a whole day later (we applied early afternoon Tuesday) we were told on Wednesday they could do nothing without a co-signer. So Thursday my mother called them to co-sign for us and after all day we heard nothing. Friday morning comes(Today) and my wife calls to check and they said their is nothing they could do still. Thanks for not only lying but wasting our time.

    Waited 2 and a half days for a loan. Then they come back and tell me something completely different than what the website says. Asked for a co-signer so I got that, then it was a run around on that and they couldn’t approve me, but when I apply online it all went through good to go. Rude over the phone and sound so impatient. It’s not our fault you only have 3 employees working. Take your business elsewhere

    After 2 years of settling a payoff, they call making threats. Got down in hard times after having a vehicle financed. So had a dealership buy it from me leaving a balance of around $250. Well they kept reporting to my credit as paying and never removing or charging off for over a year. Just recently found that out. Know they trying to get nearly $3000 or threatening court. Well I do believe if I go to court and the judge sees what they’ve done it will be them in hot seat. Don’t do business with these folks. They don’t care what happens to people.
