It was a little hard to get around in your system, i got help from Devon & my son who recommended M1 finance. I have not received my $10.00 for him sign me up.

M1 offers the innovative features that may make it the gold standard for self-directed investing. Offering fractional shares, M1 adds even more value than competitors.

Not at all ethical - stole a 5 dollar paper statement fee from my account. There is no way to choose what kind of statements you want to receive. Lends one to believe this is a predatory practice and they just siphon money out of your account due to lack of CLEAR instruction.

i joined M1 FINANCE to have access to fractional shares. i also like the possibility to create your portfolio and manage the entire portfolio at the same time.

My requests for information and changes have been dealt with promptly. There are still a couple of changes I'd like to see, but overall I'm happy with this service and would definitely recommend it.

I started consolidating my accounts with M1 about six months ago from Schwab, TD Ameritrade and Vanguard, and I haven’t looked back. this is been a rewarding experience, absolutely worth it.

no phone support, call and call, you get put on hold, then after about 30 minutes, recorded message, only open during normal stock market hours, calls were made during stock market hours, no answer. don't bother to try email support, no response. take your money elsewhere........

Tried to liquidate and close account and it has been 2 weeks and my money from my account has not been transferred to my bank despite M1 saying it will only take 2-5 business days.

this is a very good investing system for the average person beginner or advanced but just wanting to use as much of their money to invest without having others take a chunk here and there....it just takes watching a few u-tube videos to understand how it works.....this is even better then mutual funds....because of taxes number 1...and u can make yourself your own small portfolio of stocks like a mutual fund...this way being diversified....plus unlike mutual funds its a great way to buy and hold stocks for the long term....the stocks you want only...adding to them whenever you have extra cash....and no taxes because you don't have a mutual fund manager buying and selling stocks in your portfolio to keep up with the averages....and M1 finance lets you buy partial shares...this is probably the best part of it along with keeping your fund percentages where you have them set...which basically means buying the stocks that are on sale each time...an automatic buy low strategy...and you can change percentages whenever you want....and not brokerage fees on anything.....i wish it was around many years ago...but this is so awesome for the younger generation to become very financially set for their future...so much more to write about but this is probably too long as it is....one last thing I've used the help by sending a message and they've gotten back to me the next day each time...I've never had a problem with M1 finance....Its all good so far....I've been using it for 3 months now and i love it....i started investing back in 1985....so i have some experience but im very much your average investor...good luck and thank you M1 finance people....

THis is the worst brokerage account ever. They will not give me my money back. They put a freeze on all my accounts because there was a insufficient deposit of $25.00 to my account.
