    Went there at the end of the day on a Friday. The office was busy, but the notary who was there, Martha I think, (forgive me if I've gotten her name wrong), was pleasant and efficient. The office is a good size, clean, and airy. Parking was adequate, right at the northbound entrance to the freeway, with the southbound not far away. I found it to be another of the "little gem" businesses of Santa Barbara.

    Everyone at Lori’s is very friendly and helpful! I’ve come here multiple times for fingerprinting, notary services and a passport renewal and I’m always in and out fairly quickly! Love that it’s a one-stop shop

    I work for a caregiver agency in town and we always send new employees to Lori's to get fingerprinted. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. When employees elect to get their fingerprints somewhere else it always takes longer for them to clear, so in my opinion Lori's is the best in town! Thank you Lori and team for the great service!

    When I moved to SB, I used this service to transfer a car title instead of going to the DMV (skipping the DMV is a lot faster in other states). It took 8 months until I gave up and went to the DMV which took care of it in 20 minutes. There only seems to be one employee who can do certain tasks and they were only available for like 2 hours 2x/week. When we got time with the person in charge of our "case" they did not seem very professional or knowledgeable. I had to come in three times because they forgot about a form we had to sign. Then they got our address wrong (they forgot the apartment #). After waiting for a couple months to get the title in the mail I had to call to find out that they KNEW it failed to be delivered and just never told us. Tried working with them to get the DMV to resend the title and they basically said "tough luck" (and no refund). Since they got the address wrong, I couldn't fix things on the DMV website. I went to the DMV and had it fixed in 20 minutes and got the title in the mail the next week. Just use the DMV and save yourself the time and money.

    Great experience with Lori's Notary services. Called and left a message to get information and Lori contacted me back before her office hours to answer questions and allowed me to make necessary plans. Went in to have documents notarized a little later. Lori was very professional and the service was quick and efficient. Would recommend.

    Lori hurt my fingers by pressing them down with two hands into her scanner. She was on the phone as she did this so I had to yank my hand away as the pressure was building way beyond what was called for. I am an adult that can take direction and did not need to be infantilized and physically hurt to boot. She was not welcoming or friendly, despite this being her business..I visited this office because the place I work with is contracted there. I called the workplace to let them know and apparently they have had a number of complaints and are looking for somewhere new that treats people with respect and dignity. Would not recommend to anyone.

    I got my fingerprints done here for a teaching internship and she made it a breeze! Lori is trustworthy, friendly, and well-educated. The one star review on here talks about poor customer service which is baffling. Sounds more like the reviewer just isn't familiar with the way we Santa Barbarians are. No one is going to babysit the front door to their office. Hahaha This is a notary, not a bistro.

    I went to get my fingerprints done and the place seemed deserted. Then I realized there were two ladies sitting in the left office. I did not know if they were employees or not but no one acknowledge my presence until later. Then I realize one lady was a customer and she left. The lady that took my fingerprints lack customer service skills and was not very friendly. When I asked for my receipt, her response was, "You'll get it wherever you get your receipts." I had to ask her to verify that because I don't know where I get my receipts, this is not a payment service I use often. If I had to choose in the future, I would go somewhere else.
