Literally every time I get off the phone with Logix I want to find a way to broadcast to the world how amazing it is to have them as my bank. I needed a personal loan and I went into the Pasadena Branch yesterday. I met with Mr. Jason Teng who was warm, welcoming, professional and made me feel very comfortable. By 5:00 p.m. today, the money had been deposited into my account. I haven't applied for a loan for many many years, but I do not remember it being this quick and easy. Horrible customer service. Red tape galor. If you need to finance anything with them beware. In hindsight I should have known when we financed our RV with them that the dealer when he said he didn't have a good experience getting a mortgage through them we should have went elsewhere. All we needed was a check signed for an insurance claim and it took over 60 days to get this accomplished. Now on top of that my wife spent 3 hours in the branch and after it's all said and done she is being forced to cash the check and deposit it at the bank and we can't get the funds out until the hold clears. Let them blame their policy all they want I really don't care. We did everything they asked and we still got hassled.

Our member service is a great pride of ours, and we continually evaluate our interactions in order to be a better credit union for our members, so first and foremost, I appreciate that you left feedback regarding our service, and I apologize that it has not lived up to the expectations we set for ourselves. I sincerely apologize for the frustrations you have encountered. As you can see from our hundreds of online reviews, this is not how we like to leave people feeling. We frequently take feedback like this and follow up with the appropriate management to find a solution. Without being able to identify this interaction on our side without more information from you, I can't comment on this specific interaction. But, based on what you've said here I can understand why this situation would be so upsetting. Generally speaking, we are unable to endorse a check until repairs from an insurance claim are completed and we receive the list of documents needed (i.e. insurance estimate, before and after pictures, and an invoice or work order for the repairs). I apologize if this was not properly explained, and rest assured, this does not typically 60 days to get this accomplished. We are currently reducing the number of people allowed into our branches in order to comply with the current Los Angeles and Ventura County business requirements limiting the capacity of businesses offering essential services. While this has resulted in longer wait times than usual, we have not received any notifications from our Branch Staff of any 3 hour long wait times, or branch visits. We do apologize for the inconvenience of the longer wait times. I would like to look into this further, if you wouldn't mind providing additional details about your wife's branch visit? While we completely understand how frustrating it can be to have a hold placed on a check, there are many different reasons as to why we do this, some of which are regulatory reasons. To be able to provide you a full explanation, I would need further information from you. Clean environment, friendly staff. I’ve had extremely smooth banking experiences at this Pasadena location from common teller transactions to refinancing my car. Drew Barrett is a standout manager. Answers all my emails and phone calls quickly and with solid, detailed information. I heard he plays a mean bass guitar too 🤣

Chris introduced himself, asked us what we were there for, and then listened to my story. As soon as I finished, I knew that he was a very genuine guy, and friendly. He made the process very easy and did most of the work for us. Because we had been proactive and paid more and did so for an entire year, and we also had credit card accounts with them, we were able to finally get approved. Thank God. And you know what? Chris says, "You guys get a little lower rate because one of your birthdays just passed." That's when I knew who I was going to be getting auto loans from for the rest of my life. Super low interest rate, like nothing pretty much. He got the paperwork ready and we just signed the dotted lines. He also helped us get a refund on the GAP coverage we had purchased from the dealership and offered BETTER GAP coverage for a lower price. Yup. This place is off the charts, guys. We also had the opportunity of meeting Wonde, who gave us some great advice after I asked him how long I should wait before considering trading in my car for a new one. They have free ATM access at every 7/11. With the correct qualifications, you get no fees on pretty much everything in terms of having a checking and savings account. I've recommended two people, one of which ended up getting an auto loan and the other got re-financed, like myself. I got $50 per person almost like the day after they signed the deal. Come to Logix and see how they can help you. I now drive my car and I love it, and feel calm because I know I'm not getting charged down on interests rates.
