Emmett was absolutely phenomenal. I needed to refinance my car and he and the legacy team made it so easy for me. I barley had to put in any effort to complete everything. He was amazing and went above and beyond. He made me feel so welcome and made me feel like I was his family. He deserves everything and more! I hope he finds his way to the top of the company if that’s what he desires. He is truly asset to legacy. I’m so happy I came in

We tried to get into our account using the same user/password entries but couldn’t get through. Then they wanted us to enroll in online banking. It took 45 minutes to get the access code and when I got it, it didn’t work. It’s been 3 days and as of 9:27am on 8-4-2020, we still can’t get through. It gets better. All of a sudden, our PIN isn’t correct after 7 years. This is extremely irritating and shameful. Terrible service. Absolutely terrible. Oh yeah, by the way. Can’t get anyone on the phone to set up an appointment. Awful.

I use this branch because they are in a network with my credit union however non of the tellers know this. Also, when I walked in every station was manned and every person was looking down at their phone to preoccupied to acknowledge a customer. When I asked why the ATM would not take my ATM card they said it was because my card was broke. So I went to the downtown location where everything worked fine.

If I could give this branch anything less than a star, I would in a heartbeat. Long story short, on 7/27/16 I went to LCU on 4th Ave. South to open a checking/savings acct. The teller whom was a great gentleman who exhibited excellent customer service granted my request right away. The teller notified me that he would have to check my credit score to see what kind of checking acct I qualified for which happened to be a free checking acct. He said that he wouldn't have to check my score again for any other services that I would be interested in the future. My husband and I inquired on how would we go about applying for a car loan and he said that I could apply that day. While trying to fill out the application the branch manager Michelle Mobly then invited us into her office. She then told me that I didn't have to fill anything out since my info.was in their system. She asked me what type of car I was interested in and I told her that I didn't have a preference but only a budget. I told her my budget which was $250 and no more than $260. So she said "Let's get you qualified first". She then told me I qualified for $18,000 but I would have to stay between $15,000-$18,000 to stay within my budget and $18,000 was pushing my monthly payment to $270. She stated that the year of the car would have to be 2012 and up and I shouldn't get anything approaching 100,000 miles. Also that my interest rate would be 3.5%.I asked her was I approved so she could confirm and she said "Yea!". My husband stated could we start shopping and she said "Yes!"She even recommended a place where she got her car from in Gardendale. She stated when we find the car, make sure to have them fax her the vin # and she would send over the paper work. My husband and I immediately went over to Gardendale excited about our approval and shopping. We didn't find anything there so the next day i decided to look on driver's way website to look at their inventory and I found two cars within my budget with low miles! So that day I called Michelle Mobly to give her a heads up on the two cars that I found and that she should be expecting a fax by that evening or the next morning since it was close to their closing time and she said "great let me know and we will get you into your car". I test drove the car which was a 2014 Chevy Malibu with 22,000 miles and I loved it! We then went inside to do the paper work and I told her that I had already been approved with Legacy and all she would have to do is fax over the vin num to Michelle Mobly. Well the bank was closed so the dealership told me that they actually bank with legacy and they could input my information into their database and get an approval. Well that didn't work. So I suggested just wait until the next day which I did. The next day I called Michelle Mobly and left her a voicemail about the progress and how I was ready to move forward. No response. I then contacted the dealership to see if they had spoken with her and they had not. They then said they would run my information into the legacy system again. The dealership called me back and said that I was DENIED and would have to have a co-signer. I said that is incorrect because I was approved by Michelle Mobly a few days ago. He said he would call her to see if she could give him their information to be approved. He then called me back and said she told him that I was DENIED lol and that I would need a co-signer. I then called her again myself and left her a message. Still no response. I called her an additional two times. STILL NO RESPONSE. That same day I went to the bank to confront her about her dishonesty and misleading information. You would think she might have been very busy since she didn't respond to any of my phone calls, but when I got there she was sitting at her desk picking with her nails. I didn't even walk into her office to talk to her about it because I would have probably reacted in a very negative and upsetting manner, so I just politely closed my account with the same teller I opened it with. Michelle Mobly is a disgrace to LCU.

They really need to work on getting a website set up for you to make your payments, sitting in a car line wrapped around the building for an hour is not the typical way to spend your day.
