Lakeside Bank S Michigan Ave, Chicago

This place uses such a disgusting amount of bright blue salt during winter snows it looks like the sidewalks are coated in broken glass. They use at least five times the amount of salt necessary, which is positively terrible for the environment and any pets or passerby that may be crossing through. Step up your sidewalk maintenance and use more elbow grease and less toxic chemicals.

Great community bank and have always had great service

I needed to obtain a Medallion Signature Guarantee for some paperwork and called Lakeside Bank ahead of time. The woman on the phone said that they do offer this service free of charge for customers and for a $5 fee for non-customers. Perfect! Well the branch manager just told me I was misinformed and they only offer this service for customers. If I would like to get the MSG, I needed to open an account. Perhaps a better way to obtain new customers is to help them out in the first place. I will not be banking here...ever.

Banking with them for 25 years no problems I always get a cashier check for my rent if I’m out of town at my request they will send a cashier check to my landlord and mail me the receipt My personal banker is Ms Fanny Yuen she is the best The ladies at south loop on Michigan are great (1)has been with me for the 25 years since they were on Indiana I do appreciate LakesideBank

The service here is terrible. There was no privacy between customer and banker. I had to speak loud enough for everyone to listen in on my transactions details! For Pete sakes not even some privacy!

Don't trust the group they outsource for bill pay. My payment was never received and now I am stuck with a late fee. They claim to be conducting an investigation for weeks. However, I found out they are just calling my payee, harassing them, in order to attempt to have the late fee erased!
