    Lake Area Bank is a wonderful business to work with. It's small enough that they know who you are; when you call in it's a person that answers the phone not an automated system; if there's ever a problem they are great about resolving it right away. Although I've banked with them for over 25 years I have also had accounts at several other banks for various reasons. Lake Area Bank outshines all of them in terms of service and accuracy!

    Every time we go in the employees never wear a mask. Obviously safety of their customers is not a priority!! I will be taking my money else wear. Would rather bank with someone who cares about others!

    The safety of our customers and staff remains our top priority. We take several steps each and every day to keep everyone safe including masking, social distancing, plexiglass shields and frequent sanitation of our common areas. Occasionally, when no customers are in the branch, a staff person may momentarily remove their mask and social distance from other staff members. However, when a customer enters the building, the masks are promptly put back on unless there are medical reasons. We apologize your expectations were not met and welcome the opportunity to speak further.

    While asking some simple questions about opening an account here Shauna was helping me. As I asked questions she kept tapping her nails on the counter like I was wasting her time and when I got confused and a little tongue tied while trying to ask about overdraft fees she kept giving me looks like I was an idiot. Found out later that she is the boss there, in my experiences the ones running the place need to be at the top of the list of patience and being pleasant and she definitely isn't up there. If it wasn't so convenient to bank there living in town myself I wouldn't go back because of Shauna

    I had a terrible experience with Lake Area Bank. I would stay away. Their systems were terrible and people wouldn't follow up. I kept having to track people down to get answers to issues created by their own systems. Despite costing me extra money, I moved my HELOC to another bank just so I wouldn't have to deal with Lake Area any longer.

    Walked in and promptly walked out. None of them were wearing masks. Other then that, customer service has always been on the rude side.
