Kemba Credit Union Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati

Tellers are always friendly and courteous. I have been with this credit union for years. I just wish their accounts earned more interest. Very low percentage rates. I bank with Chase also. Offer special accounts for Veterans. Money orders are free to Vets at Chase Bank, and we don't have to pay typical fees. I originally went with Kemba Credit Union for a credit card. I have a revolving credit card that works for me and helped me to rebuild my credit.

Been with kemba since 2005. Very professional service and friendly environment. Love this place.

Recently needed to make multiple deposits in preparation for a down payment and out of state wire. Came in today to finalize and complete wiring. Jasmine and Coretta were both friendly and efficient, with extra care towards accuracy of my wire. Greatly appreciate their help. Thank you!

Poor poor quality of a credit union. will be closing account this week to go to GE credit union. Ellen @ College Hill location was sleeping like a new born baby at her desk as i had an 1230 appointment with her to open money market savings account. I should have walked out then. also, can't access account online. wasnt told to put three zeros in front of account number online to access account. holding time on the phone to speak with someone is way to long. never had such bad experiences with a bank, just opened account only almost two weeks ago to close it already. NOT A GOOD START. STEP UP KEMBA. You guys suck.

Good banking! But it shouldn’t take me 2 days to get in contact with someone to activate my debit. Still on the phone at this moment and have been waiting for almost two hours...

Wow. Ive been a customer for years and am now no longer. Preston Cooper ruined it for me. He has no customer service skills. He did not try to understand anything and literally did not care that he is causing a long term customer to leave. Kemba management really needs to reassess their employee(s). I have given them so much money over the years in interest that it's astonishing they don't want to keep me as a customer.

I prefer to support credit unions and was happy to open an account with Kemba when I moved to Cincinnati. However, I was shocked to find out they charge a substantial fee ($6) if you don't use your debit card each month, and the fee comes out of your SAVINGS account, so it is easy to miss. I have never heard of a credit union engaging in this type of practice, these types of fees are the reason I left big banks in the first place. When I called they refused to refund all of my money. Very disappointing. I will be opening an account with Cinfed today and closing my Kemba account shortly.

I’ve banked with Kemba for three years now and have never had a single problem. They went above and beyond just today with an ATM issue. I recommend them to everyone. If you’re thinking 5/3rd or PNC, don’t. Go Kemba.

Staff are decent and do an alright job. However, the airlock/prison yard entry is so incredibly creepy, I only go to this branch if no other banks are open. If it’s such a horrible neighborhood, redesign the building to be more secure and welcoming or move the location to a safer place.

I love this bank, but hate this location. 95% of the time, the person serving me is grumpy and/or barely even makes eye contact. On my most recent visit, I doubt the woman said two words to me. And what she did say was mumbled so quietly that I couldn't hear. Unfortunately, it's been this way ever since opening. I really wish that management would clean this place up. It's just too bad.
