Been with Kemba since early 70's..Great service, friendly employees, knowledgeable about their jobs, and easy in and out even during the last year with all the restrictions Especially want to mention Tonya at the Amelia office, always a step above and beyond, she is such an Asset to the Company. Always helps me with all my banking needs, even called me back on her day off to make sure that things were done for me. I have told many different people about Kemba, and will continue to do so... Over the years Kemba have saved me $1000's Thank You ....

I had many troubles using their holiday skip-a-pay on my loan and was feeling rather defeated…one of their managers contacted me directly and was able to work it out very quickly. Big thanks to Amy for putting customer service first!!

Really disappointed. We have worked with kemba for years but at this point more frustrating just trying to reach someone. I have been trying to get an auto loan and when I do the application I am told they will get back to me with the results in a couple hours and they never call back. I wait on hold for 45 minutes just to always hear we are to busy sorry. They are friendly and seem to want to work with you then just completely ghost you. At this point I am looking elsewhere. Take your business elsewhere and maybe they will reevaluate when they start to lose business.

I have been a Kemba Credit Union Member for over 26 years. They do not care about customer loyalty and they do not change with the times. Take my auto loans through Kemba, but not any more (even had one for over $700 a month and never missed a payment). I have made a cash deposit over a weekend to cover auto payments that come out on a Monday. They charge me $33.00 overdraft because they do not and will not honor the cash deposit before the automatic charges. Other banks are not this dishonest just to collect a $33.00 fee (or more than 1 $33.00 fee if you have more than 1 automatic payment coming out on a Monday). Placing cash in the night deposit over a weekend means nothing. Kemba does not offer Sunday hours (Park National Bank does). I have a checking account with both banks and have for a few years now and Park National's services are superior to Kemba. Kemba Credit Union is just greedy and behind the times (they have a 2 star rating for a reason). Check out Park National Bank....it is outstanding in so many ways. I do not recommend Kemba because they are only great as long as you follow their rules. (I followed them for 26 years) UPDATE: Since my original post I have switched all deposits and automatic payments to Park National Bank where they understand loyal customers and that people make financial transactions 7 days a week. (They are open 7 days a week) Plus I sent a letter providing Kemba with more detailed info, as they requested, and I have not received a response. That further explains Kemba's poor service.

Terrible customer service. My car loan is through Kemba, and I have NEVER had more trouble with a bank. I kept getting passed around to complete simple tasks and getting different answers from each person, resulting in a running total of 6 trips to the bank to get what I needed sorted out. For example, I sat in the lobby for 20 minutes after getting checked in, only to be told the teller hadn't checked me in, resulting in more waiting! Seems like no one knows what they're talking about, and some of the staff has been short with me. Dealing with Kemba has been a colossal waste of my time. Edit: Kemba said they were going to reach out to me to discuss the absurd problems they created and then couldn't solve, but no one ever contacted me. Yet again they prove to be irresponsible and incompetent.

THEY DONT DESERVE ANY STARS; For reference: I only have a checking and savings account - I couldn’t imagine having a loan or any other big ticket items with how awful they are. The entire company, including this branch, are horrible to work with. I would recommend my left shoe before referring a customer to them. Customer service is horrible each and every time you need them. Most of the time they’re so incompetent and refer you online to find your answers. The issue with that is the terrible website. It’s completely appalling that this company is still in business...they do not care about their customers and make no initiative to correct mistakes. Branches are so far away; unless you live next door -have fun trying to make it to an open branch during their strict “business hours” this particular one closes whenever they see fit. They run your credit without verbal warning; Even if you’ve been a member for close to 10yrs..make sure you read the fine print, to the fine print, because they’ve never heard of customer service or common courtesy they want to scam you and then run the credit TWICE! Then they’ll deny their mistake even if you can see it on your credit report! Each and every employee I’ve ever spoken with has a horrible attitude, that’s if you can reach them. DO NOT USE THIS CREDIT CO!!!! Today I tried to make a vehicle payment over the phone. The first person I talked to said they were going to charge $4.95 if I used a debit card from a different bank. I did not have my checking info with me so when I got home from work I called back. I was then told that I could not receive any information because I was not on the Auto loan. I explained that when my husband received the loan he asked the loan officer to put notes in the account allowing me to receive all info, which she did as we saw what she typed. Then I was told that any payment made over the phone is a $10.00 fee. Are you serious? Who charges someone to pay their bill. We will get this loan transferred ASAP

Switched banks about two years ago, only reason it's not a five star review is that sometimes when going through the drive through different employees will have different requirements for the same task ie. Cashing checks. I feel thinks like that should be more standardized to avoid confusion. Other than that my experience has been great, the staff are always friendly and have been able and willing to help in the few situations I have encountered. Great local "bank"

I was in the bank for a meeting with an account manager. It was my first time in a bank since Covid. This bank made me feel safe as a customer. This should be the number one goal of any business. Thanks for respecting the community at large, many people and businesses could learn from this practice
