I have been an In Touch/EDS credit union member since 1984. Until recently I have been extremely happy with the service and support offered from ITCU. Last month I entered the credit union to withdraw a large amount of cash, that's when I realized how un safe my experience during that visit actually was. I contacted the credit union with my concern that there is no armed security on site. In addition, the credit union will not allow customers to enter thier facility armed with a license to carry. What they have done with thier signs is notify potential armed robbers that they won't have to worry about confronting anyone with a gun if they decide to hold up an In a Touch credit union bank. I am very disappointed with the decision to post the 30.06 signs. Recently I have been doing research to move my money to a bank that respects my security. All the other banks and credit unions I have researched have made the wise decision not to limit legal concealed carry by posting the 30.06 sign. Below is the response I recieved from Chris Oglesbee, AVP Operations Support, of the credit union "I do understand your concern to protect yourself as you enter any place of business with both 30.06 and 30.07 signs posted. However, back when 30.07 was introduced, InTouch made the decision to post both 30.06 and 30.07 signs at all of our locations. We have had a few inquiries like yours about only posting the 30.07 sign instead of both, however it still remains ITCU’s policy to keep both signs posted at this time." Please reconsider this unsafe ITCU policy. James Todd Sherry ITCU member

Oh my god... Esmeralda??? You are EVERYTHING!!! Your patience, as well as your kindness, and transparency made me feel WAY less anxious about applying for a personal loan during this pandemic, creating such financial distress. I can't think you enough for this peace of mind that you've provided me with. You are phenomenal. Shoutout to InTouch!

As long as I worked for the company, it was excellent. Afterwards, meaning RETIREMENT, I started having issues with Debit Card and my Bank Account. Now that it has been more than ten years of non-work status, I have decided to change banking facities to curtail issues formed with or around my Card. Sorry this transaction needs to be done more comfortably.

I've been with ITCU since they were EDS CU, and unlike what another reviewer said, their service has not gotten worse nor have their rates (ps all banks have no gun signs -at least this bank is directly next to a police station which makes it safe -, so really not something to get upset about, let alone give an unfair rating for). The main branch at Democracy & every other location I've been to have always been friendly & helpful throughout the years. I'm forced to use Bank of America for commercial/retail reasons and customer service is night and day - as in Bank of America is atrocious & ITCU treats me like royalty. Even when I was a college kid with very little money, they treated me just as well as a millionaire. That's gained them my loyalty. I love the perks they give their customers, and I love how executives in their offices will help if lines form (you can't get that anywhere else!)
Hey Ashley - Thanks so much for your positive review. We appreciate your membership!

This used to be the EDS CU. Back in the day, it was an excellent place. Service has been going down-hill significantly in recent years, and their rates aren't nearly as good as they had been (hard to beat them in the past). Now they put up "no guns" signs that tell criminals that all victims inside are unarmed, making it a much safer place for robbers. (Criminals don't obey "no guns" signs, after all.) After 30 years of being a member, we're moving on -- to better rates, better service, and no "we're a safe place to rob" signs.

Whenever I do go visit, I always have smiling faces. Just recently, I had an issue with processing my loan payment over the phone. I finally called in and complained that the payment was processed but never withdrawn from my checking account. Parveen was able to research the issue, help me by log into the online banking and submit a payment with ease. Not only has this saved me time, it's a relief that I could do it myself. Thank you Parveen and everyone at Democracy!
Thank you for the kind words, as well as for taking the time to write, Bharathi. We love hearing about our positive member experiences and will continue working hard for you and your financial well-being!

They failed to notify me about a past-due payment on a signature loan that I co-signed. It was paid for 2 years on time and it was marked as 30-days late, I asked to see if they could remove it from my credit (as a goodwill removal) and they couldn't do that for me. Never again will I do business with ITCU
