    Highest regards for HCU. But the Spanaway branch isn't even trying. Got to the Drive thru just before opening yesterday. After opening, sat there ignored for over 15 minutes. Only after asking did they claim they were having 'computer problems.' Customers time seems to be of no worth to them.

    This location's ATM is ALWAYS Out of order. Literally every single time i need to use the ATM to deposit money it never works. Literally every single time. There are not many locations of this bank nearby. I should not have to drive 30 minutes to another town in order to deposit cash into my account. It's makes me want to close my account in all honesty.

We looked into our Spanaway systems and while we have been experiencing intermittent issues with one of the ATMS the other ATM at this location has not reported any problems.     I will never go to this location again been going here for almost 10 years now I will be going to South Hill me and my wife went in I wanted to do a personal loan that was a pre approval for And be added to my wife's mortgage account to pay mortgage because I used to send it And be added to my wife's mortgage account to pay mortgage because I used to send it Through a cash app there was no one in the branch and 3 financial advisers and about 4 tellers and they told us we had to have an appointment and they can't help us because they were on lunch it would have taken 10 minutes to do what we asked to do and it took them 20 minutes to argue with us about having an appointment

    Every time I call. I’m rudely spoken too. The tellers really don’t know what they’re doing. I get the runaround when I ask questions. I get yelled at for asking questions. No managers are ever available to assist their tellers. I always get towed a manager will get back to me within 24 to 48 hours. But no one ever contacts me. Worst experience with the bank I have ever had. I do not recommend Displace.

    I've had good experiences every time I've had to go in. sometimes there is a wait, other times there is not, depends on day and time. Paydays are definitely busy. I appreciate they have Saturday hours for those of us who work a typical 9-5 M-F as well. We have had some large transactions done in branch that were time consuming (As opposed to a regular "I want $30 cash thanks bye" transactions) and they always worked quick and efficient.

    Love, love, love this bank! Never had any issues they are on top of their fraud protection and have amazing customer service! However I must say these brand new debit cards we are getting to activate on January 29, 2020 are ugly as sin and I wish they would redesign them. I loved the last two designs they had but these ones are just super ugly! :(

    Teller called me at home several times wanting me to open a credit card. I finally said yes since she assured me I would be approved. Insisted I would be approved because I have an account and my credit was good enough. She said I HAD to come in for this because of the paperwork. Afterward I realized I could have done this on my own. After a month of waiting, I was turned down and my credit score dropped. I am pulling my money out this week and will never recommend this place again. I opened the account originally because they seemed like a viable option to try when we bought our home. After a week they still couldn't figure out how to handle a VA loan. Ugh.

    I'm not a member of this Credit Union but I use the ATM on a regular basis. Or maybe I should say I try to use the ATM because it's kind of a crapshoot as to whether it's going to be open. In the last year this branch's ATM machine has been closed more than any credit union's ATM in the area. My only other experience with this branch was last Christmas. They had a sign on the front door saying we have crisp large denomination bills (for Christmas cards) so I went in and waited in line and when I got to the window they said they didn't have any. Wish they had taken the sign down...

    I brought my sister in to open up a checking and savings account. Although I am a US Citizen, my sister is a permanent resident so I wasn’t too familiar with the process of what ID requirements there are for her situation. So to be safe, we brought in the following: - Philippine Passport - US VISA attached within passport book - Social Security card - proof of mailing address At first, the gal we worked with said those would be fine to open the accounts. Then later on, she said they were not acceptable. When I asked what was acceptable, she let me know that WA State ID and the SSC along with proof of mailing address. I wanted a little bit more explanation on why the items we brought in were unacceptable but they weren’t really able to provide a good explanation until I kept pressing for specifics. I truly believe that empathy can go a long way in any industry you work in, and I believe that the gal we working with showed compassion for our situation but I don’t believe the banker helping her showed understanding regarding our situation. I think it’s also extremely important to know your own ID requirements and why you guys ask for those requirements. The gal we were working with said that in her 2 years of working for Harborstone, she had never come across the situation before. I found it shocking that permanent residents don’t come in to your bank to try to open accounts and that we were the first one. The two bankers helping us provided only one option for the primary ID and it was the WA state ID. After they gave me that only option, I asked if my sister’s US Permanent Resident Card would be sufficient and after 10 mins of research, they were able to verify that it was. How do the bankers not know their own ID requirements to open up checking and savings accounts? Or at least provide alternate options versus me having to dig deep for the information. I’m extremely disappointed in the level of service we were provided with today. I contacted BECU after coming to your branch and they were able to provide me a whole list of acceptable and unacceptable forms of ID. Just having that knowledge made the difference for us in our situation. I hope you are able to understand where we are coming from and why I’m so upset by this situation.
