    Walk in service is fine but good luck if you need to talk to someone over the phone. Hold times are insane - plan at least 30 minutes for simple tasks. Hours posted do not reflect actual hours available. Made a drive during business hours to find out that I wasted a trip, they closed early. Calling in: Phone tree is horrible, hold times way too long. The "harborstone" hold loop that plays over and over is enough to make you want to hang up and drive in.

    Never knew I could leave a bank feeling so frustrated. Aside from their ATMS that are always down and under construction, the drive up times are way too long, even if you’re the only one in the line. The last time I went here, I sat in the drive up for AT LEAST 20 minutes before somebody even acknowledged me, & the woman knew I was there because she was working with one other customer. The current hours also aren’t updated on the door, so if you show up at 9 because it says you can, you’ll be waiting in the cold for someone to come open the door. When they DID finally open the door, she rudely told me they open at 10 am. On top of this, employees at another location told me I could use their shared branching at the center street location. After driving there, they informed me they were not a shared branching location. Nothing but headaches from this bank

    The worst banking experiences. I have zero trust in this institution. 25 minute drive through waits with only one car ahead. There is a reason I did not use Harborstone when I bought my house. This place is awful and will be removing all mu accounts.

    This is the worst bank ever. I went and they asked for my social, birth certificate and mail with address on it. I gave them all that and the mail I gave them was from the IRS. And after going home and grabbing All of that they ask for a paystub which I don’t have. The IRS paper should be enough but obviously not. I also brought mail from the STATE. What more do they need. Never recommend to anyone who wants to go through this.

    We bank here for our small business. We like them, but their phone system is terrible and the wait times in their drive-thru lines are insane. They don't allow you to call a branch directly, which means that even if you have a quick yes or no question (like if a specific person is working or if an ATM is fixed yet) your call gets routed to their corporate phone tree and you're stuck on hold for a loooong time; there hasn't been a single time, including pre-covid, when they're not "experiencing a high call volume." I have no idea what they're reasoning behind this system is. Very frustrating. Update: After reading my review they called me and provided me with a phone number I can use to reach someone directly. I appreciate this personal touch, but it still doesn't fix the underlying issues.

    Seriously the slowest Harborstone EVER!!!! Make sure you get fuel before coming and don't come looking for a drive through ATM. It's much faster to drive to Puyallup or center street than to wait in line here.

    All I can say is WOW. Every time I come to this Tacoma location the costumer service is outstanding. Good people, know me personally by name and have built a relationship through the years. I had some things come up and I want to give a big special thanks to Tracy. She went above and beyond to help me out and make everything right. Thank you for everything.

    This bank is fine if you never have a problem. Unfortunately I suggested my Mom bank here. She had fraud on her account. We went down moved everything over to new accounts. It has been a nightmare ever since. You cannot talk to a person and when you finally do they send you to someone else. No one calls you back when you call and leave messages. Phone lines at this bank are messed up and if you do get through you sit on hold for over 25 minutes. Been trying to get someone to help as now their bill pay has lost 100.00 of a bill that we paid and then rejected to go out to the vendor. I worked in banking for 25 years. Have never seen anything like it this last year.. Another Company using COVID as an excuse to not give customer service. We have been working on this for 26 days and still do not have my Moms money back. She is now getting late fees from her vendor. No confidence in this place any longer....

    What kind of bank doesn't have an ATM? Used to have 2 in drive thru, now they have none. None in the bank as well.

Unfortunately, both of these ATMs were vandalized and broken past the point of repair by matters outside of our control. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.     Nothing but issues with this company. Pulling all our money and closing our accounts. My fiance got his debit card hacked and called to report the fraud. He was told that they would need to create him a whole new bank account. He called back a few days later after not hearing anything and the person he spoke to never turned off his stolen card. We were then told he didn't need a whole new account, just a new card. After 2 weeks the card still hadn't come so he called again. They never even mailed it! So we were waiting for nothing. He was then told that they couldn't do anything and we needed to go to a branch to get this handled. Showed up and they are closed and by appointment only. Put in an appointment request and played phone tag for days trying to get an appointment. Finally got ahold of someone who told us we just needed to go to a certain location that instant card creations through the drive though. Used the new card once and then it stopped working. Called AGAIN and was told that his pin number wasn't accepted?! Don't even know what that means but this is beyond ridiculous. Over a month with nothing but issues and not being able to access our money. Switching companies immediately.
