Love this place! All of the negative reviews are from people that used the establishment's parking lot when they were not inside of the store (it doesn't matter that you "intended" to go there after) and their car was towed. The store itself has great quality food in bulk. Great for get togethers, large events or family gatherings.

Terrible service. Wouldn’t swap a case of plastic knives and I had just left the store with them . Cases were unopened. Didn’t verify that we got the same knives we get on our account and the staff is lazy. Miss the black girl who ran the front as the manager Is incompetent, has piss poor service and has got a entirely new lazy staff who reflects himself. Since they’re rated @ 2.5 stars I’d say they’re are 1 star at best.

It was late on a Friday afternoon that we stopped off at Railroad Antiques and chose to park in the Halsey lot directly across the street from the RA front door. There being no other cars in the rather large parking lot and all the street parking was taken, I figured there was no harm that late in the day. I was wrong and later learned that the proprietor must have the lot on video and the Towing Company on speed dial because after only a short while we came out to find our vehicle missing. On learning where it had been taken I called them (Mike's Towing) to see if I could get a cab to their location and get my truck - no was the answer because it was too close to 5 and their were closing. So I had to contact a friend to come get my wife and I in order to carry us the 16 miles to our home. We were able to pick up the truck the next day (better be here before 12 noon) and pay $125. As I pondered how much of a kick-back the Halsey ppl earned for selling tow jobs to Mike's, I vowed to never park in their lot again and never shop in their measly little store. These are mean people - don't give them your business.

My family and I intended on shopping here for the first time today. We were hungry so we decided to grab some lunch first. We parked here with no other cars in the parking lot because we planned on shopping. There was plenty of free parking on the street, so it should have been obvious that we were not parking there for convenience. The parking lot was completely empty and no customers were in the store. After eating, we noticed my vehicle was on a tow truck. Upon reading the other reviews here, it is obvious this business isn't concerned with public perception or customer satisfaction.

I attended a US Army promotion ceremony today that was directly across the street from this business at the War Memorial. I was parked there for roughly 7 or 8 minutes, and came back to my vehicle with a note taped to the window that said that a tow truck had been called on my vehicle. Of note: there are no signs saying you cannot park there, with the exception of 2 or 3 slots in a rather large parking lot, which I did not park in. Also, a quick glance would show you Disabled Veteran tags, and if he would have just lifted his eyes a tad he would have seen a group of people in military dress uniform attending a ceremony which takes all of 5 minutes. I will never visit this establishment and will keep everyone I know from doing so as well.

The manager had my moms car towed when she parked in one of his spots for 10 minutes to go into an antique store. When his store was completely empty. The day before Thanksgiving. Classy.

No words for disrespect to people. Store closed, afterhours, no one in parking lot. Got towed for no reason at all. Yes there was a sign, but the store was not open for business.

I purchased a 40 lb case of sweet potatoes I had for 9 days when I went to use them the case was 80% rotten. I contacted Halsey the manger said its out of here hands once an item leaves the store. No exchange,nothing!! No

The meat product are always superb. They always have what I need. The staff is amazing! They are always helpful, polite and attentive.

I really enjoy the convenient location and delicious meat products at Halsey Cash and Carry! Not a fan of the big box stores, I like to buy in bulk from Halsey. Support a Huntsville tradition and buy local!
