    If you want an easy and enjoyable car buying experience, I highly recommend Colby Harris at HM Brown & Associates! I have purchased 2 vehicles from him and each time it was the easiest thing every! He was able to get us into new cars when we thought we could only get a older car. I love my cars and would not purchase a vehicle any other way going forward!

    Not super pleased with my experience with HMBrown. The first broker I worked with lied to me multiple times or greatly mislead me. They guaranteed me the best deal on any vehicle but "the lowest the dealer could go" was only $200 less than listing price. They said the vehicle would be inspected and anything wrong would be fixed but then wanted me to pay for some "recommended replacements". The second broker tried to fix the poor business of the first guy and was more thorough in his explainations but guaranteed certain things like stickers taken off and scratches buffed out that ended up not being done. I asked for mechanic reports and never actually got them. After signing the paper and leaving with the truck the second broker stopped responding to my texts. I will likely not use HMBrown for mynext vehicle. .

    Matt Martin (the “Bow Tie Auto Broker”) provided great service and made my new car acquisition easier and more efficient than any dealership-based experience I have had. I bought my new car, a Toyota Highlander Hybrid, from Matt on 4/1/2016. I was new to the broker approach, having been someone who has been “good” at, but did not enjoy, the traditional auto dealership buying experience (this was about the 6th car I have purchased). I am a very tech-friendly and consumer, and I found that Matt was able to work very efficiently with me via email, phone, and a small amount of face-to-face time. He was my one and only contact throughout the entire experience, which made for quick and efficient communication. Matt listened to my requirements and desires. He was able to steer me toward options I had not considered and steer me away from others that probably would have been a waste of my time. We considered both “slightly used” and brand new vehicles, and settled on new since the vehicle highest on my list is in high demand in Colorado so there are not a lot of “slightly used” models available for any appreciable cost savings. His insights were very helpful. He was not pushy. Quite to the contrary, he even brought in a car to test drive because I was insistent, even though he already knew me well enough to know it was not the one I would buy. He was right, but I felt better after having tried it. The decision to buy or lease was completely up to me, and Matt helped me to keep both options open right up until the final decision. He provided some value-added services that were helpful and appreciated. I’d estimate that I spent 60% of my total contact time with Matt actually test driving the 5 vehicles that he brought in from multiple manufacturers and dealerships, all of which were a near perfect match for what we had talked about. Including the test drives and the time to complete the purchase paperwork when I bought the car, I probably invested 5 to 6 hours TOTAL of my time over the course of 4 days. I’m fairly certain that Matt could have moved faster, but he was working around my availability. Incidentally, the car I bought was NOT one I test drove since he was able to find me one in a color I preferred over the similar model I test drove. So now, the kicker: How much did this great experience “cost” me? I would say that at H. M. Brown & Associates, with Matt Martin as my champion, I got a VERY fair price for a very high demand vehicle. To put my assertion in context, historically I have been one who “played the game” of making sure I got the best price possible for what vehicles I bought/leased, even if that required walking out of a few dealerships and starting over at others. I am very unlikely to ever take that approach again given how much more efficient and less stressful this experience was, especially considering I was looking at comparable models from different manufacturers. My trade-in was valued fairly and my financing options were every bit as good as I could have gotten elsewhere. So it really did not cost me much, if anything, additional out of pocket, but it certainly did save me valuable time. This is the way buying a vehicle should go. This is the place I will go to buy/lease my next one. And I sure hope that Matt is available when I get to that point again!

    I was able to buy a new car through HM Brown. Wasn't expecting to, but they gave me a better price and service than the dealership. He never pressured me into buying the car and made everything so easy. He was also very honest with me on every step of the buying process.
