    Great customer service, business transactions have always been smooth, quick & easy. They offer great competitive loan rates... We have our mortgage, personal & auto loans all through them and have never had any problems. My husband and I have been doing business with them ever since it was formally the U of I CU and have continued on with them when they transitioned over to GreenState CU.     I was speaking with a representative of this company or bank. By the last name Renee her last name begins with H. This is a great company or bank I should say to no not only work with. But rene went above and beyond and helped me out in a difficult situation. Check the time to look deeper into something and actually give me a solution to the issue I was having that turned out better for myself. It's a great company or bank to work with it's even better It honestly will take the time to look deeper into a situation to My situation to meet my needs to benefit myself. I'm very grateful for that I would highly recommend them they are very kind and every situation that I've had doing with them to meet and come to a resolution. I would say I'm a very satisfied customer and I will definitely return business to them before another enity... I hope they see this and they give Renee the acknowledgment that she deserves thanks again Renee.

    If possible I would rate them negative. The staff is not knowledgeable and helpful at all. There were some credit card discrepancies. They made me run pillar to post and still have not resolves it. It has been more than four months now. They have wrongly charged me. I had to take off from work to got to the branch to show them how to do addition and subtraction. If they can not answer your question they will randomly send you to someone else just to shed off their responsibilities.

    I can't even pay my mortgage directly, I have to direct deposit my mortgage payment to a "Share Savings Account", then I have go on online and send the money to my mortgage account. I'm not even sure it's legal and they do that to collect late fees. Check their Better Business Bureau score, it's really low, and for good reason.

    Adin cold called me about a very low interest rate on GREENSTATE new Bank Credit Card. 2008+ had wiped out my credit and probably yours and its been a battle with these corporations that hold us hostage with lower credit scores so we have to fatten their wallets. Its been 14 years since I had to restructure my mortgage with GREAT SOUTHERN BANK, all the while not missing or late and wach month they still staple some kind of bankruptcy garbage saying now they have the right to boot me out whenever they please. A bank that calls me, treats me like I'm the reason they are there, offers me other great deals that benefit ME! I ended up moving a vehicle loan to GREENSTATE which lowered my interest, deferred payments for 3 months and actually put a couple thousand dollars in my pocket. So excited after that deal that as I was driving it occurred to me that we forgot about the credit card. Well, I'll be heading back in a couple days and I sure hope that manager has that fridge stocked with more ice cold bottles of water. Sure way to seal a deal!!

    Do not waste your time!! Took over a month to get a decision on an under $20k car loan. They kept asking for more documents and led us along. We had to stay on them to get a response and were told they were short staffed. After all of that they declined the loan. Got the impression that they declined because they don't have the staff to process the loan. Not sure why they send out so many ads for their car loans when they don't have the staff to process keep up with them. Went to another finance company and was approved and recvd funds within an hour.

    BEWARE new customers. We recently deposited a large sum of money with the promise of 2% interest. We emphasized that it was to be split into 3 accounts to ensure that it didn't exceed the insured NCUA deposit limits. We were assured it was no problem. We did not receive any paperwork which was unusual compared with our previous banking experiences. When the bank statement arrived it was 1.5% and when we went to the bank for an explanation, the response was Sorry, I can't do anything about it, but if you wish to withdraw your money, we can have it ready shortly. When we called Customer Service in North Liberty, we were assured that it would be passed up the chain of command and would receive a call back. This is the second day and no response. So much for creating a lasting value in a banking relationship. Disappointing but accounts closed!

    Say hello to overdraft fees for all of the stores that separate one transaction in multiple when they’re shipped out. $15.00 negative could turn into $150 negative with this credit union overnight.

    Jolisa refused to assist in restoring an account and refunding fees as a result of her office refusing to reissue a debt card. Escalated to senior Management whom refused to assist as well.
