Derek Young was exceptional. He worked tirelessly to get my VA financing secure, and find me exactly what I wanted in a new build. Even when some old financial obligations came up, he helped me navigate a solution. I could always call him day or night with any questions or new developments and he was happy to help. He explained everything to me step-by-step as many times as I needed him to, so I would understand the home buying process. Even six months after I purchased my home I am still able to call him with a question and he will take the time to answer it. When we bought our house, we decided to go with Freedompoint Mortgage for the first time. It was the best decision we ever made. Our Loan Officer Trevor Young was probably the best we have EVER worked with. He is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient with any questions we had, he always answered our calls and if he couldn’t answer when we called, we would get a text saying, will call you in a few minutes, and he always called us back immediately. I’ve never had that kind of service before with any Mortgage company we’ve ever had in the past. He always made sure that we understood everything and if we didn’t, he took all the time needed to explain it to us. As we all know, buying a home is a very stressful experience, but Trevor always put us at ease in every respect. He made every step of the way easy and painless. I cannot say enough good about Trevor and Freedompoint. We have recommended him to all our family and friends, and they have all been so IMPRESSED. They also have said that it was the best experience in either refinancing or purchase that they have ever had. Trevor Young worked miracles for us! They were able to get us approved way sooner than we thought based off conversations with other lenders as we had a few set backs with credit scores! Trevor worked some magic and kept me up to date with everything… he also responded quickly to my 1,000 questions I had throughout the process!
